ok, rubble price guide has been added on top in the event item list towards the bottom. Again please do not add any posts on that thread as its already a large file to load. any comments you want to make you can mkae it in a new thread.
The prices are based on the 3 highest shards pirces i've visited and I've visited over 14 shards in both US, Europa, and Asian shards. Its a good starting point if any for those of you who are thinking of buying/selling/trading your precious rubbles [IMG]

    Happy holidays.

Forgive my cynicism, but I read that as "Ok, now that I'm done buying Rubble, everyone look at how bad I ripped you off when I bought yours at a fraction of what it's worth!"

I read every thread I could on rubble and checked a lot of vendors on different shards, only by doing this could I get a good handle on rubble prices. I turned my nose up at over priced rubble and bought some stuff cheap. I've also won a few auctions, and I think I probably overpaid a couple of them just so I could get a few pieces I needed specifically.

Anyone who was going to sell rubble could do the research that I (and others) did. Anyone who was unsure of what their rubble would go for could hold onto it untill they had a better idea of prices. No one is holding a gun to anyone's head making them sell rubble cheap.

And besides, there are going to be wild variations in prices at least initially. It's not exactly true that an item is worth what someone will pay for it. There may be only one person in UO who will pay a crazy amount of gold for a particular item, and once they have it then that item is no longer worth as much. People who really really wanted coconut trees will pay the 30 mill, but after a couple weeks you would see most of those on vendors for 15. IMO an items value is determined by what the majority of people would pay for it, tho sellers should always hope to find that minority of people who would pay more because they need the item for a set or really like it.

You can be cynical all you want, but it really is a guessing game when new items show up, and the only way to get an edge is to do research. If you sold an item for more gold than you've ever seen in your UO life then find out later you could have gotten twice as much, hey guess what, you just learned a valuable lesson. Don't be bitter, just use that information next time to help you do better.

TY Manticore, this will make it much easier to buy and sell these items!
