SA expanson and reds

    What do you think of reds being able to go to the new expansion.
    I think its great just hope they cant kill me there :D. What can I say I hate dieing LOL.

    They stated early on this will be the case. Personally, I'm waiting to see how this will be done before giving a reaction to it.

    Reds can go wherever they want, as far as I care.
    I don't go to fel, because I don't want to PvP.

    The same will apply to SA.
    It's PvP areas I wouldn't like, not the reds.

    Exactly. I don't go to Fel these days because I don't want to be jumped by a pk, red or otherwise. And I don't want to be stolen from. But, I could care less if there were reds in SA, Trammel, Malas or any other facet as long as they had to follow the same ruleset as everyone else there.

    It's about time reds can go somewhere besides fel. My poor pvp characters are getting bored of the scenery.

    Well, I couldn't care less. If I had to quantify it I would say right now I cared apple. And I can't care less than apple. Then again, if they let them in I would probably care shoestring.

    Don't get snippy folks. Some of my best game friends are "red". This will hopefully be a non issue where I play. The rest of the shards? You have several characters per accounts. Up to 7 now? Even the most heinous of "reds" could have a throw away "blue". Thank the gods I am color blind.

    Hope for the best new game play for monters only be tram rulesets, the most rewarding playset be in fel ruleset.

    Keeps fingers crossed for new champ spawn but instead of power scrolls there are alacticity(spell check) scrolls. I'm so tired of training charicters
     
  10. I agree, let reds in tram. as it stands there seems to be a few communities in uo, and the red pks and the trammel blue to the core dont ever get the chance to mingle, you might find that friend in a red, and hopefully might even explore part of the game you never have before :)

    alot of reds tho I know hate tram and they are red for they want to stay in fel.

    If you let reds in tram and malas how would that effect murder counts? I mean heck bank sitting now is at an all time how. Would murder counts hours still go down in a non fel area IF you are red?


    Plus again we do have 7 char slots so...


    Shrugs..I guess Im also old school on thinking Red is evil :D
     
  12. They have a chance now to mingle. Most don't care to do it. If they did then there would be more people in Felcca. The people that have and sell scrolls most times PK. Because most don't PVP is why you never see many people there except the champs. How many player vendors do you see in Felucca? How many rune libraries are there, or public houses of any kind.

    Big question is how will it effect, Trammel, Ilshnar, Malas, or Tokuno? Will the change be the best for everyone?

    How do murder counts work now for blue murderers? I would assume they would use that same system. And, if you know that we have 7 character slots, and that most reds have blues that do go to Trammel, why not allow reds there as well?

    Red is evil. But a 4 count blue murderer is what?

    As long as reds cant kill me,cant loot my corpse and cant steal from me in Sa i am fine with it. other wise its going to suck i want to explore the new land and dungeon without worrying about what a red or a thief might do to me. i assume the monster spawn will be very tough so that is risk enough. i don't mind being killed from a monster or loseing stuff to a monster so much but i hate it with a passion loseing something of value to another player i rather my corpse disapear and time out and my items disapear forever then have some red or thief or looter get my stuff.

    since SA isnt even on the radar at the moment.. why not speculate and think that it will be like T2A is now. Seperate, yet on Fel as well as in tram. Can you say HEARTWOOD anyone?? anyone at all?? hmmm?? Till we hear more about SA maybe assuming that something will just be tram only should be shoved somewhere the sun dont shine at the moment.

    I hope new SA land will be with Fel ruleset, or at least half of it. I's about time we get more balance between Trammel and Felucca zones.

    But why do I care, normal shards are ruined long ago. At least we know, on Siege it will be non con ruleset unless they add more instance dungeons

    We can only hope, they someday will make a single ruleset, where all can go everywhere and the non PvP'ers can be somewhat safe as long they stay nice and do not attack or loot PvP'ers.
     
  18. I think what this is leading up to is that the gargoyal templet and new skills are basicly PVP.

    Also some don't know that murder counts can be worked off. That is the way a player stays blue. That is why some blues don't mind taking a count. They can murder and stay blue. Most don't have any idea what goes on in PVP.

    Killing the spawn and PVP at the same time can be very tough. You need a good PVP guild to do it.
     

  19. Oh, I like that stay nice part. Seems there will be a new tamable in the game. People that live in trammel. Who do we have to taunt left. {come to Felucca.} Why bother just start a fight in trammel.

    Trammel already has warring guilds and fighting with in a guild. Most don't even want to do that.
    That or join a faction.

    I guess some areas will allow PvP. Most possibly the new type of champion spawns and such.

    On the other hand they may build "arenas" in the form of secluded areas inaccesible by normal means, and by stepping or teleporting in you agree to being susceptible to attacks by other players.

    Or both. Or something completely new. Doubt the latter.

    I'm not sure if you realize this but after about 10 to 15 murder counts, it's almost impossible to burn them off.

    That is unless you have a second computer and dont play that character for 400 (16 days) to 600 hours (25 days).

    Inevitably what happens is the player gets on his red and ends up taking another count, sometimes unintentionally, like casting poison fields during a spawn, or withering.

    After you have more than 50 counts forget even trying to burn them off.

    Most true reds have well over 100 counts.

    Most blues who like to PK but not go red are the people you are talking about, those you would see at the bank burning counts.

    Most reds are red because they want to be and would not want to burn off their counts anyway.
     
  22. You may well be correct. They have been working on one way gates that drop into random locations. [Broken Gates] One time I was dropped off at Labyrinth. (Not inside the building.) There was a blue gate there but it moved each time I tyed to get back in. Once walking throuh a white one I was dropped off in a few lich. (That one had nothing showing to the way back.)

    If I get dropped off in a PVP area I want it so no one can camp it. Also all party members dropped off in the same spot. The ones in a diffrent party another spot. Trouble is getting out and back if it is a no mark or recall in zone. I have a stealth archer and thief {no one likes eithr one} among others that can handle it. Fair is fair and it should be even for all players PVP and PVM.

    It may be nice though if a PVP has a very hard time to PVM and the other way around in a common area. Tha way both would need each other. But then a vary large guild should be considered as being able to take over the spawn like the champs in Felucca now. There was some that was controling Lady M. It took a GM to slow that down. It should have been thought about when set up that could happen. The only way I see that happning is to make the area VERY large. With no centrel champ at all.

    I still think that the rest: Trammel, Ilsh, Malas, and Tokuno should remain unchanged. Gates like that should be in Felucca and Trammel to a central drop zone. Also those gates clearly marked.
