I am recently back from a 2 year break, I am stockpiling b-kits and v-hammers to update my armor. I am also looking into making the jump from classic Sampire to Bushido Paladin using 100%hll weapons. I just don't know where to start with the armor. I have read that with the bonus's to lmc from studded that is the way to go (although I'll likely use a few hide pieces as I feel they look better.) I am looking for what is the ideal thought process while crafting this armor now. Am I looking for animated on every piece, do I want to go sorcery, or vitality? How many pieces will I need of fortified? Etc.

I plan on using CC, M&S, DQ(fire),Corgul's, Unicorn Woven Sandels, and Fire Resist Earrings. I am undecided on robe, and I have animated tinker legs I am also considering for the suit.

So I am looking for some sound advice on the last 4-5 pieces of the suit. (Arms/Gloves/Chest/Gorget/ ?Legs?[if not tinker])

Also it has been a LONG time since I have crafted a suit, what is the ideal way to work out resists before reforge/enhancement?

Thank you in advance, I look forward to hearing all of your ideas!

I'm a sampire still but the armor should be mostly the same. I reforged 3 DCI pieces and 2 HCI I believe. I haven't tried a 100% HLL build yet because I can't find proper pieces of SSI jewelry :(

Yeah I was fortunate enough to come across a 4 stam 15hci 15sdi 25di 10ssi bracelet clean about a week, ago as well as some tinker leggings. I already run 120 heal on my sampire at the cost of bushido, so the jump to lose necro and pick back up bushido would not be a far leap from my current playstyle. I am just not sure what to run as far as stam inc vs lmc vs resists etc. I am currently in a woodland, but its getting worn, and I am looking to make the leap to reforged. Just really don't know where to start.

Studded leather with LMC and stam increase on all pieces, HPI on 3, resists as needed, then mana increase on as many as possible is my recommendation.

I have not tried plate armor vs studded leather though, it may be worth trying sometime soon. I don't know how much it prevents stamina loss, and it does allow for 45% LMC which is not bad.

Ender, how am I rolling those, Powerful & Grand>Inspired 1 Name, and hope for all three stats I need? IE 10 stam 10 LMC and 5-7 hp? Also where am I making up the resists? I am aiming for 75/75/75/75/80 because my ring cannot hold dci. So I am looking at 380 total resists, -65-10-2-56-2 (helm, quiver, earrings, legs, boots) [135] 245 Over 4 pieces. 52 pieces avg, at least 1 will have to be fortified.

On a separate note the Stam loss vs LMC issue is based off the top 5 items for that category done separately to my understanding. So if your running a Plate/Norse Blackthorn Mace and Shield Helm, and in my case Probably Tinker Plate Legs, with the rest studded, it should give 13 lmc, and a mix of high and low stam loss. Not built it yet, so just a theory but seems it would be more balanced, then the normal Mace and Shield glasses.

No. I reforged powerful/grand/inspired and then of Aegis on three (DCI) and of Slaughter on the other two (HCI). Then imbued LMC, Stam increase and HPI, resists and mana increase in that order.

Ah I am looking to go the non-imbuing route this time around. A lot more costly, but will be a suit I never break.

I am missing something here.... 3 + 2 = 5, what about the 6th armor piece (head, neck, arms, gloves, legs, tunic...)?

    Interesting....

Could you please post a walkthrough of your step by step process to get the suit without imbuing any piece ?

    Thanks !

Most Sampires use Mace and Shield Glasses, it is one of the most solid helms you can run on a Sampire/Warrior in general. SO I would assume Ender is running that leaving 5 pieces to reforge/imbue.

^ This with Barbed Kits. I have 4 pieces, as I am running Tinker Legs/Mace and Shields. Ill need fortified on 1 piece, Mystic on all 4, for 40lmc, Animated on all for at least 32 stamina and mighty for 2-3. The way I will craft this, seeing as I have 4 pieces the way I will go about creating it, is to pick a single piece and throw as many Powerful>Grand>Inspired at it as I can until I meet the needs of the multiple piece. Ill likely throw mystic at it, as its hard to natural roll a 10lmc. After that i'll pray for 8+stam +5-7hp or resistances. Odds are I will burn 500+ kits working on finishing this suit.

Well, good luck with that. Me personally I'd rather save tons of money and just make new suits as needed (which is not very often)

Yeah I understand that, money wise, not much of an issue, I farm the grand majority of b-kits myself. I will also end up selling off the non-functioning pieces, and giving some of the good but less desirable to my guilds new player chest. I'm sure with as many as im going to end up burning through, I will probably end up with a few nice mage suits and dex suits for my alts as well.
