It seems every time I venture off of the Siege Forum, I get an infraction...

I didn't even call the guy a Trammy... I called the NPC shop owner one!

Does this really warrant an infraction?

    Why is this?"

The provisoner probably has everything in his shop insured against any loss, as if being Trammelized wasn't enough! In this day and age, losing anything is unacceptable. I'm suprised he hasn't yet changed the security settings in his shop so that only he may enter!

A thief in trammel... *smacks forehead*

Come to Siege! The loot is a plenty, and no insurance!

  6. Probably the underlined bit did it. *grins*

There's something that's always puzzled me though, one of the tags we eventually get after posting here is 'babbling loonie' which in itself is derogatory. It means someone who is stupid and speaks foolishly and incoherently...while some may not mind this tag, it's really not on. So, if it's meant to be a 'joke', then players should be allowed their 'jokes' too.

Taking my cue from O.J. Simpson's book, "If I did it", I will only dance around the topic, as I am not allowed to discuss moderators actions without the looming threat of further censorship.

Were I to comment on the ( unnamed ) moderator's action, I would say that the action was unjust and unwarranted. Censorship and political correctness has simply gone too far in this World if you can't even make fun of a non player character in a virtual world. I am opposed to censorship in general, in its many forms. Placating over-sensitive people for the sake of agreeability is nonsense... it empowers the childish and encourages them to continue to behave that way ( ie. Muslim cartoon threats ).

Censorship does have its place, however. Were someone posting someone's personal contact information, address, and/or work address, they should be forever banned. When the realm of avatar's is breached, possibly putting real people in danger, then there is no excuse for NOT censoring ( ie. recent suicide of gay male when roommates put video feed of him and partner on-line ).

Let's just see how long this post lasts before the thought police... I mean, Big Broth...er... the Super Awesome Mods *winks* take it down.

i once got a talked warning about sexual harassment at work (about 1000 employees) and they would not tell me what i said that was harassment or who i harassed. just told me not to do it again.
I had no idea who it was or what they were talking about.

ended up being a new girl that i had talked to a few times who never said anything to me directly like dont talk to me. the harassment i think was i casually asked what she did after work.

anyhow once i found out who it was i just never spoke to her again.

Whoa whoa whoa...please do NOT mention Germany in these parts. You want to talk about hyper sensitive? This is the path to go down in order to see that!

I think we better call a halt to this.
