Do they take you over 100 to 110 or are they only good for 90+10=100?
Since lockpicking maxes out at GM I'm betting that it gives a bonus to GMs too.
To be quite honest, I seem to fail more when I use skeleton keys to the point that I have stopped using them.
It is suppose o give you a better chance, not sure how that work but I did miss 9 time in a roll on a Lvl6 chest. The only plus, is that you only use one use, no matter how often u fail. I did notice that I destroy less items.
The only advantage I've noticed is that they're insurable so I don't have to worry about a lich looting them when I die.
You realize a lot of people just put lockpicks on the ground to resolve that issue right talula? mobs won't pick up from the ground.
One skeleton key is also lighter then 10 lockpicks.
THIS is the main reason I use them on my T-Hunter. That and they don't break or use a charge if you fail to pick the lock.
So no one has a clue what the skeleton key actually does?
I've been told that Skeletons reduce the chance of Destroying Items when you Fail at Unlocking and the chest Hisses at you.
