mmm, not sure, I do know that you get double resources though (mining and lumberjacking at least anyway, maybe others like hide or loot, not sure)

    Hides Yes, Loot no

  4. I am not sure about the skill gains. Since I have never tried to raise any skills in Trammel, I have no basis of comparison. :)

However, it is certain that, in addition to doubled resources, you also get twice the gain in fame.

Heck, it's worth a try. Just setting foot into Felucca does NOT equal insta-death. Just look for a quiet place away from public moongates, and you should be fine :)

There is no double skill gain rate in Felucca, only double resources and double fame.

Did you submit this yet as a potential Five on Friday question?

'Cause if not... Please don't. It's frustrating to see FoF try to answer questions that were already answered in the forums that very week.

If your trying to gain in a mule (trade) skill, then fel is the place for you.
the double resources make it well worth it.
If its a fighter type char, fel is a great place to work those skills too. I have no idea if they ever fixed it, but the respawn rate in fel was alot faster than tram. which made it great for skill gain purposes, i.e., alot faster kill rate when you don't have to wait a couple min. for the next monster to spawn.
As far as Pk goes, well there is always the off chance it will happen, but with most production shards having a very, very low fel population, you might have a better chance of getting killed by the monsters.
Who knows, you may come to love fel and even make it your new home.
Not all reds are the Evil people that everyone makes them out to be, although there are exceptions.
In conclusion, give fel a try, if for no other reason than the extra resources and fame.

It was eventually stated that this was a bug caused by having a champion spawn on the same server, and was changed to a much, much slower rate.

Felucca still gives much better fame then Trammel, however, depending on what you're hunting. This means you can pump up Honor and Sacrifice that much faster.

Very true. In fact, in most cases, if I encounter another player while hunting they will simply invis or run away from me (despite my blue title).

The real danger zones are around moongates and champion spawn areas. People there are typically prepared to fight, whether you want to join them or not.

Not accurate. If you do a Mel in Fel, you get twice the amount of crap loot as you do in Tram, same for other peerless. Not sure about general monsters, tho.
