So, a new guy in the guild wanted to make a sampire and wanted armor- of course everyone wants the 'best' until you start talking about prices. He mentioned that he had a slither and that he could sell that to afford to make the armor... and that got me thinking... he also had a gladiator's collar..... So... I tossed this together.... Resist 70/104/70/72/70 I spent about 3 hours making leather pieces for the armor. I added it up and figured out that I could actually hit all 70's and 95 fire with just 3 imbues of fire. So, I worked toward that end. The resist you see above are with 4 fire imbues. Here are the individual pieces: Chest 7/x/10/10/13 Arms 5/x/12/11/12 Hands 9/x/11/12/10 Legs 6/x/11/11/9 EDIT: Yes, I know I could get better results, used less resist imbues had I enhanced it after imbuing, especially considering that this was made from leather. But he was reluctant to buy a Forged Metal and I wasn't going to push it, since I could hit the resist and the suit would be good without it. He had jewelry he wanted to use (Ring 15 hci, 15 dci, 22 di, 8 str Wrist 15 hci, 15 dci, 22, di, 4 str, 8 dex)- toss in the stats from the slither, crimson, mace and shields, gladiator's and.... 40 HCI / 45 DCI / 44 DI / 30 HPI / 4 HPR So, with no imbues needed on the armor for HPI, imbuing it was pretty straight forward. 8 LMC, 8 Stam Inc, 8 MI and 15 fire. Granted, at first there only needed to be 3 fire imbues, but he told me to make it like I would for myself, so I tossed in a extra fire imbue for the random corpse skin. That left one imbue slot left. I think MR on a sampire is about useless. Reflect physical? yeah, could have gone there with the 70 weight left over on the 4 pieces. I ended up putting on 2 SR, which put the weight at like 496 or 498. Anyway, the rest of the stats are: 33 LMC / 32 Stamina Increase / 22 Strength / 18 Dex / 30 HLD / 2 MR / 5 SSI / 32 MI / 6 Stamina Regeneration Could redo one of his rings to add the 7 LMC needed to hit 40... leaving that up to him if he feels he needs it. It also got me thinking about using a similar set up for woodland armor. Guess it's time to try for my own Slither.... Thoughts/comments?
