    Things I know:
    120 Ninja
    100 hide
and 75 stealth come out to about 35dmg. Now I'd like to know what bonus 120 stealth would give, tracking from 2 screens, etc.

I cant go into exact formulas, its a little complicated but...

hiding means nothing on deathstrike, its weapon skill stealth and ninja.

At 120 in all without the tracking bonus its around45 i believe, your best bet is to search a fairly recent thread on this. Tracking a player(not skill level but actually tracking)for more than 8steps from the location you began to track will inflict a bonus on that.

If memory serves the total damage was around 58average.

if you take him over there make sure he plays a mage, becuase Bo thinks he is horrible on any other template. Who knows maybe it was his roommate playing with him. Opps did Bo just say that!!!! Bo always thought if someone could play a mage they would be good on just about any other temp. Well Speedy proves that theory wrong.

OH yeah just what JSV needs another stealther ahah why dont you try taming.

Bo, are you sad I made you run away on your mage? Speedy think Bo should run resist, Bo eating 29 point painspikes make Bo sad.

Bo is still workin that temp. Bo will admit it is a work in progress, also why would Bo run resist??? How many mages are currently out in the field fightin against Bo? Bo would rather have an escape vs a dismount. To Bo that is more important.

Which is why I am dropping necro. I never started that template as a PvPer, it just became that because I was bored and wanted to play something new. But dying to a dismount gank doesn't FEEL very new, so I will run Shay'lei's template.

Bo knows deathstrike, here is the bonus damage breakdown from tracking. You get 2 points of damage per every 10 points of skill, when you have the target tracked for 2 screens.

    Edit on that:

If I DO suck on a warrior, I don't care. I've stated many times before I have played a mage 99.9% of my time in this game, only stopping to play:

NelliK - a 120ed out val hammer faction macer

    and

Dirt Nap - A ninja archer before DS was nerfed

I have almost no experience playing them.

allow me to shine the light...

DEATH STRIKE [30 mana, 85 min skill, 120 skill gives 95.0% success]
NOTE: Damage from Death Strike is halved with bow attacks.

If you hit in combat & pass the check to use deathstrike this 30 mana attack halves the damage of your initial strike and then has one of 2 additional effects:

    1) If the target takes less than 5 steps during the next 5 seconds then they will take (Ninjitsu/9)*(.3+.7*(hiding+stealth)/220) + [tracking bonus] DIRECT damage
    2) If the target takes more than 5 steps in the next 5 seconds then they will take (Ninjitsu/3)*(.3+.7*(hiding+stealth)/220) + [tracking bonus] DIRECT damage

TRACKING: If you sucessfully track a target before you deathstrike, the next deathstrike attack will do additional damage as follows. Adds up to 10 damage based on the distance between where the target was standing when you tracked them and where they are standing when you deathstrike them. In addition you will do tracking /10 (rounded down bonus damage)
[Tracking bonus is now capped at 10 + 1/10 skill ]

DAMAGE IS CAPPED AT 60 (if they run) & 20 (if they stand still).
If you stack a second deathstrike attack, the caps change to 70 (if they run) & 30 (if they stand still).

Note: The 5 sec damage is unaffected by choice of weapon or level of tactics/anatomy (you can even use wrestling).

The stealth changes have made the formula for death strike damage a little cumbersome. Here are some examples:

0 hiding and 0 stealth = 12 damage if they run (elf) [not including tracking] (a human does 17 because of the free 20 in hiding and stealth)

    SIMPLIFIED
100 hiding and 80 stealth = 34 damage if they run [not including tracking]

100 hiding and 120 stealth = 40 damage if they run [not including tracking]

100 hiding and 120 stealth + human track = 52 ( 2 pts for 20 tracking and then actually tracking them gives you an automatic 10)

100 hiding and 120 stealth + gm track= 60 (10 pts for 100 tracking and then the automatic 10 bonus from tracking)

If you ask me id say 40 tracking is pretty worth it, as youd squeeze out 54 pt DS. Now depending on your play style you might invest more into tracking and less into stealth, meaning for the same skill points, your normal DS will do less while your tracking DS will do more.

    Your welcome.

PS please tell your the one who bought haviks items from the vendor, he gave me back my stuff and I tried to return the favor only to find they were gone.
