Something needs to be looked at (Please devs)

    After organising 43 Exodus Encounters on Drachenfels we 2 weekly facing the same problem.

    We Always to low on Rites. I always give people a week time to collect the keys.

    Here screenshot of yesterday evening:

    This is one session, 8 daggers,7 robes, 1 rite , 2 altars. In a week we gather about 80 robes and daggers and about 40-50 rites. Not to mention way to many altars!

    Altars is never a problem because each group only need 1 , we already started to call them floor deeds because after 5 we trow them on the floor! :D

    We could craft them but unlike the other items, Taint is not that easy to get. We can not go to Dreadhorn all week to try to get enough taint.(No time for that) Stealing Taint inside Exodus , then we need to be very lucky!

    I only see a few options. Increase the drop rate on taint and drop the altar rate. Give us more ways to get Taint. Change the ingredient to craft the Rite.Or a way to craft Taint (Abyssal Cloth and Crushed Glass can also be crafted) .

    Or (This is my personal favored) A exchange Box to trade in Keys . 2 to 1, 3 to 1 Ratio. With this we can change the too many keys for the ones we need.

    The Exodus encounter is a major success on Drachenfels and we would like to keep it that way.
    Please Devs can you have a look at it!.

    We can look into providing a solution for this. This kind of thing (game feature changes) is outside the scope of the Governors meeting, so no need to bother the King with it :)

    I guess setting the drop-rate-value of Rites a bit higher and, to keep the overall numbers equal, lowering the altar drop a bit would be easier.

    it's always sad to see the unused keys laying arround at wbb after the exodus events. especially if you collected them together and therefor knowing the time effort :-(

    It s rather odd. We do gather keys on a regular basis with my Europa guildies. Seems we are more often short of daggers than rites. We usually need daily run for a week to gather enough of them for every hunter in the guild hunt.
    We realized that drops vary from day to day... it also varies from char to char (i e mystic doesnt get same drops than bard, etc...)

    We have great days with many drops and very poor ones with very few... but overall i agree we always have too many altars !!

    We mainly focus on juggernauts, sentinels and drones...

    we are always short on rites and we have always to many altars. for a grouphunt you need one altar and else the robes, rites and daggers, so less altars and more of the other drops would make sense, wouldn't it?

    @Kyronix This could also be another good reason to talk about removing the timers from keys entirely...

    You get more daggers and robes than altars? Lucky you...
    I always come out with at least 1.5 times more altars than any of the other keys when farming. :(

    And yes, I'd rather have the rite using ingredients that can be crafted by player skills rather than taint. You can craft or gather the materials to make the others keys just using trade player skills such as mining and alchemy.
    It is just the rite that you can't.

    Maybe when you get a drop and the RNG rolls it can be set to 10% on the altar and 30% on the other three.

    Seems we are always short on robes. Maybe it's the RNG that needs looked at instead of the drop rate? Seems to a lot of us that it's way way too streaky to be working correctly and I distinctly remember one of the old devs said it was broke a long time ago.

    Just need to change the mats to make to something less demanding. Enforcing the power of the RNG with a boss drop .............Ummm..................Yeaaaaaaa.

    As far as a timer freeze. Avoid abuse by having the timer froze while on a vendor. Balance of hoarding to the needs of others through pricing.

    I take a group of players to farm those keys and each time I end up short on one of the 4 each time(last time I had 33 rites, 25 robes, 15 daggers and 24 alters). I have tried many different templates and found my necro/mystic mage gets the most keys per hour using raise dead, RCs and wither because just one hit on a monster can get a drop.

    We use a group of provokers and provoke everything and then use chain lightning. The best results to get the keys is when the groups are bigger.

    For us, rites always been a problem. But I do know that sometimes a person gets more rites then other items.But if other items are too short, they can be easily crafted more. (Unlike rites) So I think my idea for a exchange box for the too many keys for something needed might be a good solution. And lower the drop rate on floor deeds... uhm altars (not too low!) can't hurt.

    There should really be more ways in the game to get Peerless (ML) ingredients (both common and uncommon) other then only killing the Peerless bosses and the very scarce coming from stealing to the Exodus Zealots as it is now....

    After todays 2nd sessions: Total: 14 Altars, 14 Daggers, 13 robes, 4 rites.

    Thats not a good patern. :)

    Out of curiosity, how many people and how much time to gather 45 keys total ?

    2 People about 2,5 hours. These are only my keys not the one of my friend.

    The more people in your group, we usualy have 4 or 5 saturday and Sunday morning, The better is to get keys (In total) . In roughly 3 hours we collect about 80 and 100 keys between all of us, not counting the altars.
    We use 3 provokers and use chain lightning to damage all monsters at ones to increase our chance for key drops. We don't care if they Exodus monsters or the Knights, just provoke everything. First clear the middle room and then clear each side room clockwise. Works Fine like this. Getting the keys is not the problem. Its getting the same amount of each that can be the problem. :)

    We encourage everyone to collect keys but I have a team to collect as many we can to give away on the day of the event. Not everyone got time to collect 4-5 sets for the event. And we have set up a Key exchange container where players can trade the keys they got too much for keys they need.
