Hi guys, I hope you all have had a good start to the new year. My family is really being tested lately. My daughters grandfather passed away last week and that family is kinda 'crazy', so that has kept us busy. I was just getting ready to start physical therapy on my left foot only to slip and fall again. BUT this time I broke a toe, sprained my RIGHT ankle, and broke my back. We have decided that we are going to have to find a new home for my dog, Trinity, (she is my avitar). She is just to big for me to handle anymore.

I am not supposed to sit up which drives me crazy. I have to lay down 24/7, can't walk, lift or bend. I am getting fitted for a 'torso' hard brace on Tuesday. I am seeing the back surgeon tomorrow just to rule out surgery.

Hoepfully soon, I will be back on to kick some cog boo-tay with you guys!

I saw the back specialist today and he said that I can sit up for a few minutes at a time. I have some powerful pain medication and he said that as long as I am comfortable I can sit up. Still gotta use the wheel chair for long distances, but I can live with that. They took more xrays and said the facture was very mild and I don't need surgery and it would heal on its own. SOOOO, that was good news!! Things are looking up!

OMG - poor Sandi - sorry to hear about your troubles. I haven't been on much lately either, but hopefully will be on more again. I'll be looking for you.

I am so sorry to hear of everything going on in your life. I've thought about you since I met you in the factory a couple weeks ago and we chatted. At that time you said it was only time for your daughters grandfather, I've checked this site to see postings from you but obviously you've had your plate full. I hope your daughter is handling his passing okay and that you heal quickly, maybe we can do more runs together. My thoughts are with you and hope to see you around real soon.

Now that sounds painful! Hope you get better soon Sandi.

  5. Oh my goodness. I'm very sorry, Sandi...My dad passed about a year ago, so I can relate. Although I didn't have a broken toe at the time.
Please give me a shout if you're ever online; I'd love to see you :)

OK, NOW I am laffing so hard I am crying!! I can tell you are back in full form, skirts and all!!! hee hee

Thanks, but hopefully I will be on those next runs. All of my suits are nearly empty, though. I might bring my other toons to vp and cash on Sunday. I want to send you some codes for my black kitty the next time I get on TT, if that is okay.

I am really BACK now!! Got an exray today and doc said my back is healing nicely and as long as I wear this f****** brace arouind my torso, I should be able to sit up as long as I want. Which is great, but after a little while it gets uncomfortable and I have to sit on the couch or someplace I can recline a little. My curves are not made for these belts. It is super huge like a wrestling belt they give the winners. I does come in handy when I am eating, cause it is so tight that I cant eat too much. LOL I will look for ya in TT!!

Totally. Feel free to PM me a code and which toons you want me to add you on. I have 3 "in development" now. Huddles and Sir Crumb you know about and a black cat who appears once in a while named Anacaona.

Welcome back Sandi! I'm not on quite as much as usual (close though!) but give a shout whenever you see me. I have Melody on my McWolf but don't see Stubby - don't know how that happened but it is me. Maybe she was just on Squeaker, I don't know. Anyway, I'm glad things are a little quieter and hope you are healing well!

    Talk to you soon!
