    Hey all,
Id like to start soloing some spawns. Ive been doing them in groups and havent gotten anything at all. What I am wondering is, what kind of temps do people normally use to solo spawns? If you guys could give me some temps to think about that would be great.

    Thanks in advance,
    Arwen

    110 taming
    110 lore
    80 vet
105 magery (110 after crystalline and staff of power)
    105 necro
    120 ss
    90 med

    = 720

use wraith when you are clearing out the spawn and lich when the drag is tanking the champ.

    eval 120
    necro 110
    SS 120
    music 120
    peace 120

my suit has alot of mana regen, i mainly do rats or undead. but spamming peace helps alot.

This guy can easily do rats. Pure necromage with a little focus for stamina

    120 mage
    120 eval
    120 ss
    120 resist
    115 necro
    100med
    40 focus

Wraith form the whole time for nonstop withers. You never run out of mana.
Use a repond slayer on the boss. My record for soloing despise is about 40 minutes.
A duo can take out Destard spawn in about 1 hour, and almost any of the other spawns for that matter.

    good luck

My ABC (archery/bushido/chivalry) character annihilates rat and undead spawns.

A pair of necro-weaver-mages can destroy any spawn. I haven't managed to solo anything but baracoon with my necro-tamer-mage, but I'm sure it's possible with a slight change to my template (I have no vet to raise my pets, so if they die, the spawn is over for me). A pair of good bake kitsune has little trouble with rat, demon, undead or reptile spawns. I haven't tried them on the arachnid spawn and pretty much anything with positive karma can win at Oaks, but good luck finishing that one solo. Certain people seem to show up any time you get the spawn to the third level.

I've used 2 templates to solo rat spawn in despise and T2A and both work nicely

Necro/Spirit Speak/magery/Eval/Med/Hide/Stealth with around 90 sdi and slayer book. Lots of plus skill items such as crystaline ring and midnight bracers.
Tactic is to use wither heavily up until the 3rd level. I then cast a fire ele and stealth around into thick spawn. As the fire ele is targeted by all spawn, i reveal myself and spam wither till all is dead. The fire ele acts as a shield which is essential as my resists are low.

Flame strikes to the bara will generally do around 115-130 damage and you leech almost all of your mana cost back.

I believe this template also works well with music and peace instead of stealth and hide and i know of one person who solo'd rikktor with the bard skills in place of stealthing, using a similar suit.

    Swords/Chiv/Bushido/Archer

Soulseeker and whrilwind attack all the way to the boss then arm a high mana leech comp bow and spam armour ignore. Revert back to soulseeker for summoned rats.

PS thats europa, not dead shard but have to choose times wisley for despise ;)

After thinking about all these templates, i think you probably have the ultimate template. Even at level 3+ of the spawn, have everything target your dragon - then after everything targets it, spam wither. Whatever boss you do, i would expect a good tamer with quick GH's and vets can have their dragon stand up to any of the end champ.

I think your temp is much better than my Sampire using cursed wep and 20% swampy. Only spawn Sampire can do is ratman.

I think your template can do every champ solo. Question is, how quickly does a Greater Dragon take down the champs at the end with you healing/vetting? May take a long time on a few bosses like Rickter.

You know what, my current spawn template is as follows.

    Animal Lore 115 +5 tails
    Spirit Speak 120
    Animal Taming 110 +5 tails
    Magery 110 Cyrstaline
    Eval 115
    Necromancy 100
    Veterinary 80

I run 50 SDI standered without book, and use repond slayer for baracoon..

Thing is, about 2 years ago before the days of needing tactics to use weaponskills, I ran a dexxer temp with stupid skills, but I would run around the baracoon spawn in vamp form 4/6 holy light spam with a soul seaker (120 med 40lmc 12 regen 160 mana so could do for long time) healing every time I hit something so never died.

but for killing the champ, I used holy light, DP and nerve strike with 0 tactics...

The strange thing is, on that template I could do a spawn faster and kill the baracoon alot faster...

I dont get it honestly, necro mage with greater dragon and repond spell book should be perfect, but a stupid holy light dp nerve strike spam pwnes it faster lol..

If you sick youir dragon on baracoon, or any champ boss for that matter, will the champ boss still try to target you with any of their area spells?

their area spells may hit you and coon is infamous for killing newbies with minions.

they wont target you unless you hit them, unless its area effect like nera or ricktor or however u spell it.

baracoon wont target you but will still summon mobs to aid him around you, so just wither when there up and you have full mana, fairly easy but I still say its slower than my chiv temp, I would be interested in testing my theory on test some day as I dont have that account anymore and no spare slots to make new temp

I do see a problem with this necro/tamer template vs. Baracoon. WHen baracoon summons archer, and you wither - your first wither will not kill them. They will immediately all fire arrows at you and with no wrestle, and with no SC weopon in hand (because you will have spellbook with repond equipped) all arrows from the summoned rats will hit you all at once and kill you, correct?

Also, stratics show baracoon with 4200 HP. He has WAY more than that, doesnt he?

    120 necro
    120 ss
    120 tactics
    120 swords
    110 parry
    90 anatomy
    60 chiv

    1 second account and pc

The necro can chew through all spawn just fine with wither or in wraith + curse weapon wielding a radiant schimitar slayer w/+ss and whirlwind. Just thump divine fury when stamina gets low if you dont have the leech and EoO to solo high end para spawn (animated skele dragons are a nice bonus from the para dragons).

This temp can solo undead and coon champions. For spider I cheat and dual box a couple tamers... "all kill" and hide while the second account tamer heals. Semidar I can almost solo with necro but I find the second account mage spamming mini heals through UOA to be very helpfull. Rikktor I use my necro to dispatch the spawn then sideline him and hit my 2nd pc chiv/archer to solo the champ.

I run nearly the same template (I'm about to switch med out for vet and have exactly the same template) and the attacks from the ratmen don't kill you right away. Not only that, but with significant SDI (I have 45% without my scrappers) most of the rats do die in one shot. The rest only get one shot, and apart from the archers, that one shot is usually shrugged off.

More often, Baracoon summons on my two bake kitsune (Dragons are overrated in PvM in my opinion) and I simply run up behind them and wither wither then go back to hitting Baracoon.

And for the problem times, like when I'm stuck in a bad place when the spawn advances to rat-archers and silver serpents, I do carry a staff of the magi along with me. (I used to have a staff of pyros. Ouch, that hurt)
