spellweaving and magery?

    Just got back in game and i am not sure about this.Does SW and magery combined are any good?

    I am trying to see if i can do a mage necro sw type.Any imput would be good.

    They can be a good combination. Just remember though that eval int has no bearing on damage or duration of sw spells. Nor does mage slayer books work with sw.

    Be aware of a few things.
    To get the MOST out of it in PVP you'll want an arcane focus of 6 which will involve using the arcane circle at Prism of Light which is a pain in the bottom to get too. You can create a arcane focus of 5 on any circle it just means your spells won't quite have as much bite.

    Secondly SW has a relatively high mana cost per spell compared to the other magic classes.
