    Set up a macro key for hiding. Then just hold it down (spammy) or tap it while walking around.

    You might want to check your armor too.

    Nope, it's a long road to 70.1, then it's easy street

    Screw it I'll tell you how I did it myself. It's lame lame lame. First of all, have some tv shows or movies you can watch.
    Then make a macro:
    UseSkill->Hiding
    Move->North
    Move->North
    Move->South
    Move->South
    Find a place where nobody will see you, start the movie, hold down the macro key and glance at the screen every once in a while. Your mouse pointer needs to be positioned over your char so that you'll walk and not run.

    Get a ring or bracelet with stealth on them. You should get a few gains from that point. Then remove and continue your training. That should get you rolling...la

    You can't stealth until hiding is high enough.

    Moongate hop and keep hitting the Stealth key.:scholar:
    Works like a charm.

    eh if you continuously gate hop, it automatically hides you. From there you can just keep using the stealth skill itself (which has a much shorter cooldown than the hiding skill) and you should get gains from it. I just kept hopping back and forth from luna to umbra to luna, etc.

    Time between uses for hiding is 11 seconds and stealth is only 4 or 5 seconds.

    Thats the way I did it on Siege.

    Use rabbit Ninja form. You can start walking out of the gate earlier and get MAD gains. :scholar: Don't even have to use the Stealth key.

    MAD I tell you! lol.

    Wish I knew about the gate method.. I'd advise this over my semi-scripter technique.

    No, he deleted his post or someone else did. He mentioned an illegal 3rd party program.

  16. To top it off stealth is a difficulty skill. What armor you was able to gain with at one level of skill will no longer work later on. You need to add or remove it as skill moves up. Finally to the point that plate armor is used when trying to get over 100.

    With the timers for hiding stealth is hard skill to gain once over the all studded armor level.

    I gained to 95.5 naked. Wearing leather armor (just a few pieces) got me to GM.
    Of course I'm on Siege using RoT.. mayhaps GGS is different, and is sure as hell takes a lot longer to get a single gain.

    If you plan on only using medable armore ie the leathers spined, barbed etc. then I don't see any reason to go past or even up to 100, 80 would suffice. If however you plan on being a tank and want to use the heavier non medable armors then 100 would definately be a good number to go to. Any higher and you maybe wasting skill points. It's your call, but since skill points only go so high, I believe careful planning is in order. Good luck.
