    Hi Folks,
    quick question.

Im currently training my new PVP Pet and i cant decide on some skills.

    Currently i have:
    100 archery (+20 with mask)
    100 tac
    100 anat
    100 hiding
    80 stealth
    120 ninjitsu

so what would be better for the rest of skills?
Chival ? Healing? and rest in tracking?
raise tactics a bit more? or anatomy? or resist?

I really dont get the ninjitsu pvp yet, but i am a quick learner.

I know that dog form is quite nice for healing and wolve form isnt bad as well due higher HP, hci and movement speed bonus.

So please tell me which skill would be best.

And another question, how should be HCI/dci?
i was going for high mana reg, due i dont have crossbows with mana leech but with high lightning ssi!
still should i have hci max?

dci max in pvp is a no brainer
    Best Regards

  2. IMO, if you're going to have archery, you should have Chiv. You can use 4/6 casting and use Chiv for healing.

  3. Bloodeye

    Bloodeye Guest

Yeah, but is chival really that important?

4/6 casting would bring me into the position to add quite expensive armour pieces without mr to my suit to keep hci/dci high

still the question is it vital to have max hci? i mean legs of bane with expensive stuff ;)

dci could get easy a boost of heart of lion and fey leggins + quiver

hci is at 20 due of archery mask thingy, always forgetting the name

Thx connor, as usual the fastest responder :p

  4. I'd say for an Archer, especially since you don't have healing, that Chiv would be the obvious choice, not only for healing, but also for Consecrate Weapon to ensure you're doing max damage. Also, for a PvP Archer, I'm not sure they put much stress on DCI. I don't PvP though, so I could very well be wrong with that one.

Oh, and you're gonna want to get rid of that Hunter's Headdress and get Mace & Shield glasses. That's pretty much a must have for a PvP archer.

i got a nice hld bow with lightning for mortal strike.

I did the quest once for my sampire for the M&S and im not donating again :p

My friends ninja has no chivalry or healing on his ninja archer. He stealths everywhere (smokebombs rule!) and uses dog or Cu Sidhe form for healing. (He has Talisman of the Fey)

Ninja archers are more concerned with HCI then DCI. You need to kill your target... period. If you get into trouble, smoke bomb and stealth or shadow jump away and plan another ambush.

You will need some tracking, I've heard 40 works ok but thats up to you. Track your opponent, ambush with death strike, Ki attack or focus attack. Dismount them, go to dog form and use moving attack with a crossbow to run them down. Again if you get into trouble smoke bomb and stealth away.

can't use specials in animal form...

Can't use ki attack or focus attack with a bow, melee weapons only. Death strike is not worth it due to damage being , i believe, halved with a bow. Can't do specials in animal form, so no moving shot as a dog.

After ninja archer dismounts his opponent all he has to do is mortals/concusion spam.

use human form for 20 tracking u can get +10 damage still rather then the + 20... but +10 damage for no skill is good... HAVE to be human form

    Yeah,
so i still didnt figured out yet.

    do i need max hci/dci?
    i think dci a must
    not sure though

    i got hunters headress
really sucky for pvp? or is it ok? i could get mace and shield again, but im not keen on it.

    resist?
    healing?
    chival?

Does someone has actual expierience of his own in this matter in pvp ? :)

i would glad for the help.

cause i raised archery to 120, dropped it for hunters and not reaaaaaaaaalllllyyyyyy motivated to get it back to 120. although if you say, m/s is a must, i would do it....

so please get back to me

    best regards

    120 Archery
    100 Tactics
    100 Anatomy
    100 Healing
    100 Stealth
    100 Hiding
    100 Ninjitsu

Concentrate on hci. Stealth archers are not supposed to get hit much so dci isn't needed. 80 stealth just doesn't cut it with passive reveal these days. If you can, put together an all 70s resist suit. Stamina regen is a big plus especially if your gonna run in wolf form alot. Chiv imo is a huge waste on a stealth archer. My stealth archer like never dies to anyone. Personally I carry a heavy xbow for dismounts then swith to my repeater with high ssi and hit lightning. After i dismount i switch back to wolf form to chase them down with repeater. 9 out of 10 pvpers have ninitsu to jump into wolf form if they get dismounted.

    Ok
    i got now
    With hunter headress and RBC

    39 hci, bit low
    mr 8
    lmc 25

    119 hp
    139 stamina
    50 mana

    70
    70
    70
    70
    72

    Should be okay for pvp?
    Im running
    120 Archery
    120 Ninjitsu
    100 HIding
    100 Stealth
    100 Anatomy
    100 Healing
    100 Tactics

i have 21 points left to spent
+9 Archery and +12 healing on ring and brace

Where should i spent this points?

Then stealth for DS and staying invisible or tactics for damage.

And no one tells this guy to drop his healing and stealth to 80 and add in 60 points of tracking?

    Ditto

Also the big thing to remember about death strike isn't the overwhelming damage you do, it's the extra damage over time that can finish an opponent off.

    i got one of these
    120 Archery
    100 Ninjitsu
    100 Hiding
    100 Stealth
    100 Anatomy
    100 Healing
    100 Tactics

drop the skill jewelery and find some that have max dex hci and enhance potions..

you need 140 dex for 4 second heals

your armor should have lmc max, hci max, and dex bonus to get you to 140 dex.
some mr helps but for me, when i dump on a guy he is usually dead. i hide, regen and move on.

your resists should be in the 60s...

    your bow should be balanced.

You could play a real template?

  21. GFY

    GFY Guest

Just because he doesn't play YOUR template doesn't make it any less real for him.

  22. HeathBar

    HeathBar Guest

Why, because it takes so much skill to press the wither button on your real template?

  23. Chaosy

    Chaosy Guest

If the OP did decide to play a real template, then he probably would want to learn it from a real PvPer as well.

As far as PvP archer templates go, there are 3 that are popular:

    1) Stealth archer - the build you seem to be leaning towards
    120 archery
    110-120 ninjitsu
    100 hiding
80-100 stealth (depending on the armor you wear)
    90-100 tactics
    100 anatomy
    90-100 healing
    rest in chiv/med/focus

    2) Pure damage archer
    120 archery
    120 tactics
    120 anatomy
    100 healing
    120 resist
    65+ chiv
    rest in med/focus

    3) Disarm archer
    120 archer
    120 fencing
    120 tactics
    120 anatomy
    100 healing
    65+ chiv
    rest in med/focus

The disarm archer is very popular at the moment, but that's not to say the other templates aren't effective. There are others such as a bushido archer, but those tend to be more PvM oriented.

I use the pure damage archer temp Chaosy posted above for pvp and I like it a lot. I haven't tried the others though so I'm not sure how good it is in comparison.

My friends Paladin archer is very tough in PVP.

    Archery 120
    Chivalry 120
    Tactics 120
    Anatomy 120
    Resist 120
    Healing 120

He uses a balance repeating crossbow with 100 DI on his suit. He loves moving shot and with 4/6 chiv spells and fast bandaids I've given up trying to kill him one on one. He can have 3-4 players chase him around champ spawns and survive.

4/6 Chiv archer is good but the gear is hard to obtain, and the mana is hard to keep up in a big fight.

If you want to go PvP stealth archer with headress imo
    100 archery
    120 tactics
    100 hide
    100 stealth
    90 anat
90 heal (90+90 = no fail on bandies)
120 ninja (imo no less than 115 ever for forms)

45hci/25 dci(dci not needed but its nice if you get in a bad spot)
atleast 140 stam, more is better always, 120+ hp
    40lmc is a Huge help
HP regen isnt huge useful but it can be nice, human form and 3-4 more hp regen will negate most poisons

crimson cincture is great but i use a ninja belt with dp shurikens, its nice for blocking a big heal, even if they are just going to cure pot it.

i actually play my stealther with focus/med instead of stealth alot of the time, but i also abuse teleport scrolls and shadow jump. Kind of got nerfed with the summoning ball. Used to ride around on a bonded mount and just dismount -> dismount enemy -> get back on mount and chase em down.

Can't you use the Shurikens from the ninja belt without wearing it?
I thought that was the case. Don't need to take off your Crimmy.

Always nice to have chivalry for if you participate in spawns as well. Don't need any more than 60...can even have less if you have a good matchup on jewelry with HCI/DCI, chiv and FC/FCR.

And, nice to have another way to heal.

  30. Chaosy

    Chaosy Guest

You can use shurikens right out of the pack without the belt equipped. I think 120 tactics and 100 stealth is a waste of points when you really just need 90/80, but if you have the extra points available I don't see why not. I don't think HPR is needed since wolf form grants massive HPR and you can pretty much heal up after you've hidden and stealthed away from wolf form alone.

  31. Gama_Isisson

    Gama_Isisson Guest

Wolf form doesn't give HP regen. It gives a bonus to max hit points. Cat or dog form gives the big HP regen rates.
