Alright, have those who have played around a bit with the new craftables and imbuing come out with some reasonable idea, depending on the resources used up, work involved (including training) and all the rest, of how much the new items will cost (a range is fine...) ?

Like how much for imbued items ?

How much for the Scroll Binders ?

How Much for the 1 charge Soulstones ?

How much for the new tamable pets ?

    And so on.....

Shall we talk about Stygian Abyss Business ?

hard to say yet, im sure prices will start off outrageous. the imbuing resources will jump in price (the gems) and even paragon arties will jump up because you can unravel them for resources. lower end doom arties will jump too since ya get the relic frags from them. since theres so many that just buy gold, they wont mind spending millions on stuff that would take a couple hours of playtime to acquire. Hopefully everyone will have there own imbuing character going and will earn thier stuff. also alot of the basic new crafted items will be sold for way too much (like the vials to get silver serpant venom, they take 1 sand and i could see vendors trying to sell as a rare or something to less knowledgable players)

Imbued Items: Depends on intensity, break rate, and where/how much you get for resources like essence/relics/etc., and the rare gems for the higher intensities. Plus however you get the small gems that are loss, by hunting or buying from an NPC.

Scroll Binders - Cooks make the pulp from Bark Fragments for Lumberjacks, then the pulp goes to someone with Inscription high enough to make the binder. Depends again on who you are dealing with.

Soulstones - Again, ask the guy who makes them what they want for the mats to make the stones. It's going to vary.

New Tamable pets - Most are dependent on drops from mobs, and Tinkering skills (for the crafted ones). Again, ask your Tamer and whoever sells the mats.

Mysticism Scrolls - Depends on how you do it. Can do the quest and turn in the 50 relic fragments and get a scroll, or you can go the scrollbinder route. [EDIT] IGNORE THIS.. It was pointed out below that there are some serious wires crossed in my head, and that I should stop posting until I get them back to normal![/EDIT]

It all depends on who you deal with, for every answer. Resources are spread out, people need to find them, and charge what they feel is appropriate, but it's not based on anything champ-spawn related anywhere, to the best of my knowledge, so no one will corner the market.

Sorry, can't give you a better answer.

As far as how much for imbued items........

I would expect a large sum even though they are breakable. This is at 120 Imbuing with +3 Soul Forge. Blood Sword with 4 mods.

    Hit Lighting 1st mod
    5 Relic Frags
    10 Amethyst
    10 White Pearl

    HCI 2nd Mod

    5 Relic Frags
    10 Amber
    10 Ecru Citrines

    HLD 3rd Mod
    40 Enchanted Essence
    80 Tourmaline
    10 Parasitic plants
    took 8 tries

Bumped the 40dmg inc up to 50 for 4th mod
    took 7 tries costed

    35 Relic Fragments
    70 Citrine
    10 Perfect Emeralds.

Now lets tally for 4 mods!

    40 Enchanted Essence
    50 Relic Fragments
    10 White Pearl
    10 Ecru Citrines
    10 parasitic plants
    10 Perfect emeralds
    10 Amethyst
    10 Amber
    80 Tourmaline
    70 Citrine

    End Product
    +50% Dmg
    +50% HLD
    +50% Hit Lightning
    +15 HCI

Prices on the material currently can be expected to double or tripple soon. So price is going to be pretty steep on Imbued items.

    Again 120 Imbuing
    +3 Soul Forge
    Only 4 Mods
And it still took all that oO.

If you settle for 40DI or whatever you get from having Arms Lore, you can add another property.

Wow that's a TON of resources.

Looks like it'll be worth it to create 2-3 mod high intensity stuff out of copper runics and bronze hammers with iron ingots, then imbue and enhance that.

No the Dmg inc from Armslore counts as a mod as well. If there are 4 mods on something already they count. You can't add 5 mobs ontop of the mods that already exist. It's 5 mods period. You can adjust there intesisties like I did with the Dmg inc, but a mod is a mod is a mod lol. Think there are a few exceptions though, can't remember what they were.

    Really ?

That is something I have always be against. I think it is detrimental for the game overall since it might work as an incentive for activities that might harm other players who play the game for fun.

Personally, I would have wanted any sale of in game items for real money be not allowed, period (and violations be swiftly investigated).

I think the game would have been a much better one and with much less headaches for the developers.

Its impossible to foretell any prices .... those depend on:
    - demand for the items
    - availability of items

With some luck, there could grow a market for imbuing buisiness. Something like an reverted auction for someone, who is lokking for an imbuer to create an item with selected mods.

Some prices will get connected like relic fragments and several minor/less usefull artys. But it will take some time before there will be a stable balance for them. Probably everything new will be overprized the first weeks/months.

I might have gotten that confused with what counts for unravelling properties. Arms Lore bonuses from crafted items don't count in the points to determine what material you get from unraveling.

    My bad.

I know that imbuing scrolls can be obtained this way. Were mysticism scrolls added to this???? If so, I will be VERY happy.

Imbued items will sell for a lot because people have already hoarded all of the necessary ingredients. They aren't easily available to anyone in any type of quantity except for the scripters and those that have hoarded it.

Though for most people, it will be cheaper and more efficient to buy a dozen bronze hammers for their SSI, HLD, DI, Hit Spell PvP weapon, or for their SSI, DI, HSL, HML PvM weapon.

Imbuing will be useful for niche items. Like.. if I wanted a ring with 15 ninjitsu, 15 bushido, 15 hit chance, and 20% EP.

Or another example would be to find a 100% poison damage dagger and imbue mage weapon -29, use best weapon skill, 50 hld, and some ssi on it.

All in all I think you will see niche skill increase jewelry as the most commonly imbued items.

Ok.. I have NO IDEA what is wrong with my head today.

It is only Imbuing scrolls, not Mysticism. Sorry :(

My brain is undergoing serious stress today.. I likely shouldn't be talking anymore today :p

Thirty millions for a Mysticism Legendary Powerscroll ?

It will probably be that if not even more, nonetheless, it will be outrageous.

Freaking unbelievable, IMHO, how this could be let to happen.........

Prices are going to be outrageous for the most part on just about everything new introduced. They always are when something new hits shards. There will always be those who get something early and sell it WAAAAAAYYYYYY overpriced. Honestly this is just one of the things about having a heavy in game economy. No matter what thing sell but the prices eventually come down. The thing with this expansion though is they are getting away from luck of the draw items (arties, peerless regs) and heading more towards player crafted stuff (which is something I have wanted for so long) with items that, while not incredibly easy to obtain, are plentiful to people who, mine, fish, and lumberjack.

This is what they should have done years ago. The jewels may be expensive at first but look at the bright side, crafting now has A LOT more impact in game that it has since AoS hit...people have access, or will, to items with better mods instead of PvM'ing away hoping for the right items to drop with the right mods, It's less luck of the draw far and away and has more to do with what the players make, which is always a good thing for business in my opinion!!!
