Subdomains vs Subdirectories

    If you decide to re-launch new/historical websites, consider using subdirectories vice subdomains. Since subdomains are treated as unique domains, you'll be building your page rank, site reputation, and search rankings from scratch. If you could somehow use subdirectories (e.g., stratics.com/shroudoftheavatar), each site would benefit from stratics.com's current ranks/reputations and would further build upon it. WPMU networks allow you to choose one or the other.
