    1. No opinion (likewise no ability)

    2. The data stream - so that any programme not having the right coded 'signature' would be unable to interact with it. (not being a programmer I don't know if that's even vaguely possible)

    3. uo.com guild site says there are 211 guilds on Siege. I wish they were all active. Numbers ranging from 1 - 30

One thing about being in a guild by yourself, you don't have to wonder if the gm knows what she's doing, you know darn well she doesn't [IMG]

Nine guilds of 10. I think it helps establish a variety of identities for people to associate them with.

I'm going to ask a few questions and i want a honest answer from the community.

1.Do you enjoy PvP on this shard?
2.If you could change one thing what would it be?
3.Which would you rather perfer 3 guilds of 30 or 9 guilds of 10?

    2 dismount

3 lots of guilds dont care the size we need more people!

  12. Well, from what I understand from all of the posts so far is that people dont really like the 3 zergs that are siege, So now i will pose another question: What are you willing to do about it?

4 guilds of different types of players...
1 guild with low skill but large numbers so that they can throw player after player at their enemy until the enemy finally grows tired of fighting or is overwhelmed by sheer number
1 guild of all the goody goodys , all of a different degree of skill but still a close unit. (lol i said unit)
1 guild of all the arseholes and smartarses, all (err... most) of a high level of skill and able to thrive off of the hatred thrown at them and able to enjoy any and all accusations of cheating and hax.
    1 guild of everyone else

Interesting thought/discussion on the zerg guilds/alliances.

Right now we have the 3 major zerg guilds/alliances:
    KOC
    TnA/TnT/Myth
    JSV/C8V/WCB/CWS/GIL

Why is it that zerg guilds are an issue NOW?

There have ALWAYS been evil zerg guilds as long as I've been around siege. Going back from recent times, think VMP, B^G, OTF, and now KOC.

I really don't have a problem with any of the larger guilds on Siege. They play as they deem necessary, and hopefully enjoy doing so. What I would like to see more of on Siege, however, is the abolition of lame templates, ganks, and zerg alliances.

If K0C wants to be a large guild who wants to use high end weapons and armor, who are we to tell them how to play? One thing is for certain - they were out there guarding the SL base several nights in a row, they were sending out a challenge and looking for a response, and they enjoy each others company and playstyle.

I know accusations and such fly around about them all the time, but they are certainly out there having fun and playing the game. I think the challenge before the Siege community isn't to "eradicate the zergs" or "win UO," the challenge before the Siege community is to re-establish itself like it once was.

The crying, whining, and bickering needs to stop. Churlish accusations need to stop. Guilds need to establish themselves, the rules they play by, and hold steadfast in the face of adversity. You can't expect everybody to play by the same rules you do, but you certainly can expect your own to do so.

Finally, the template of the day thing needs to come to an end. Sure, there's always going to be some that use it, but if you choose to use it then you resign yourself from the solution and become part of the problem.

I've charged and died at the hands of both TnA and K0C as a member of CoM, and I don't really care. The only thing I wish I had was more 1v1 opportunities to hone my rusty skills (few years rusty [IMG]). This is Siege - you are going to lose to better talent, you could lose to better items, and you will definitely lose to the template of the day in most cases. Go back home, resupply, and drive on.

The perseverance of Siege Perilous is entirely in the hands of every player that considers him/herself a citizen of the shard. It is, therefore, every players decision what the shard will be, and the majority will rule.

The question is: Which majority do you want to be a part of?
