I am a long time fel player, long story short I'm in search of pardons.. more then your average person. I created a T Hunter, I have it completed (98 lockpick.. I'll get there!). So now all that remains is the maps. I read on UO guide and on the FAQ here in this section, that maps are scaled monster level to map difficulty. Last night I geared up and farmed Yamadons, I killed over 40 of them and didn't get a single map. They are supposed to drop level 5 maps. I typically try to get to the Miasma scorp, however that is a popular spot and I have a few items that allow me to farm Yamadons easier then the Miasmas. I am begining to doubt that Yamadons even drop maps at this point. Is this a normal thing? I don't remember the Miasma's giving me this hard of a time, PLUS they drop chests where Yamadons don't. *I swear I had a few Yamadon's that HAD to be paragon* HEHE So I am here in search of a few answers and/or some guidance for a noobie T hunter. Where do you get most of your maps from, and does it matter if it's fel, tram, malas, etc? I would prefer a spot other them Miasma, it's always crowded and people love to drag the Rend down. Is it common to kill 50+ creatures and not get a map? If so no wonder everyone keeps telling me to just delete my reds! I picked the Yamadon to farm, I figured high fame/karma and good gold drop would be good to get along with the maps. I didn't get any map drops last night, going to try again soon see if my luck changes. I am under the impression that level 5 to level 7 maps drop the Forged Pardon. Is this still true? And on average how many t maps does it take to get a pardon? Thank You in advance!
