[Archery] template for pvp stealth archer

    Please, give me an advice about this template, what PS should i have and what type of stats on items.
    It ill be my first experience in pvp, so..

    120 archery
    120 Ninja
    90 tactics
    80 stealth (120 with items)
    100 hiding

    are the skills your gonna need. now u can either go with healing and anatomy, or 120 resist and higher tactics, or maybe even fit a melee skill in there for effective deathstrikes....depends on what style u like, the way u play the temp, and how many people u have on your side.

    mm is it useful, to play this template without resist? i wanna work on my team, and what about equip and stats?

    I would go with the following minimum

    120 archery
    100 tactics (damage bonus at 100)
    100 hiding
    75 stealth (75 is minimum required not to fail in all mediable armor)
    100-120 ninjitsu (ninjitsu gives better chance to animal form, as well as determining if poisoned shurriken hit/miss)

    Optional stuff:

    Anat, Healing, Spirit Speak (for res ganking), Resist

    Equip wise you want

    45 HCI, as much dci as you can get, all 70's, 40 lmc, 100 DI, enough mana for at least 2+ specials (you will probably qualify for 2nd mana discount), mana increase, MR2, HP increase...

    best helm for you is either mace & shield or spirit of totem.

    enhance your bows to 40 ssi. you will probably want balaned to chug potions. balance also allows you to throw ninja stars/fukiya darts without disarming the bow.

    Statwise depending on items I would put 125 dex, 100 str, 30 int. you want either 150 or 180 stam, with a buffer zone so your swing speed doesn't drop. you can achieve this via dex items, potions, +stamina on armor. ie if you have 130 dex, +32 in stamina items for 162, you can chug a dex pot and be at 180+ stam...

    tactics:
    start out with dismount from heavy xbow
    poison mount and them using shurriken/darts
    use mortal if they heal, else use ai/moving shot

    smokebomb shares skill timer with hiding, and you cant smokebomb if you've been mana-vamped and have 0 mana.

    it is a challenging toon, since you wont have the offensive or defensive ability of other characters. not to mention being in right place/right time to land dismount, but not get piled on by all his friends. if you are field fighting and you dismount someone i would recommend smoke bomb, people are smart and know to pile on the stealther during a dismount

    No anat and add SS to be a true annoyance. Cure via chug and be a pest. Raid spawns, kill everything. Last minute champ ganks and use tracking for finding hidden protectors. Be red and use conflag pots to reveal.

    90 Tactics
    120 Ninja
    This is all you need to be a pest and every other point can go into med or boosting up the rest.

    did you say your rolling with mm from atl? anyways stealth archer are easy to build and play i run

    100 archery +headdress
    120 tactics
    120 ninja
    100 hide
    70 stealth plus 10 from cloak
    90 heal
    90 anatnomy
    what left over in med

    i never miss dismounts and i run 50 hld on my heavy and have 45 hci dci.

    btw if you are rolling with a group check to see if they are watch your health bar as much as their targets

    listen to who u want....but if your gonna pvp take up resist...ive been playing this template a while and played for a long time without resist.....you will get para ganked and mana vamped and die......id rather have 120 resist than even healing and anatomy....if your gonna have healing with no anatomy you might as well invest the skills somewhere else....your better off using just pots and smoke bombing. 90 tactics is the minimum u need for both specials......going to gm isnt gonna make a damage difference that your gonna notice all that much....plus this template mainly is used with groups of people.....most likely your not gonna 1v1 anybody with a stealth archer, so heavy damage isnt all that important.....your gonna be dismounting for your team half the time, while they dump their spells and specials for the kill.

    Looks like your gonna have fun playing more then just one of these temp's. So Im gonna toss my temp in the mix as well.
    This archer Ive played for yrs and the way UO has turned out all the goodies the last couple yr's (soul stones), ya can become whatever ya feel like.

    120 archery
    90 tact
    90 stealth
    120 ninja
    80 med
    100 hiding
    120 bush

    Well this is my suit listed,faction gear and imbued.



    Defense Chance Increase: 67%
    Damage Increase: 1%
    Swing Speed Increase: 35%
    Hit Chance Increase: 45%
    Hit Fireball: 50%
    Lower Mana Cost: 30%
    Dexterity Bonus: 26
    Strength Bonus: 20
    Hit Point Regeneration: 4
    Mana Regeneration: 11
    Hit Point Increase: 31
    Mana Increase: 25
    Enhance Potions: 45%
    Physical Resist: 73%
    Fire Resist: 83%
    Cold Resist: 73%
    Poison Resist: 75%
    Energy Resist: 78%

    I carry 2 stones on me now so when I need to pick up stealing, 80 for sig's, I stone my 80 med.
    So enjoy yourself with the play style. And to change it up on the fly I can use my 120 swords with a bok for deadly melee fun " NS+ NS+ DS for the win! "

    yea ive played both stealth archer and deathsriker..........and i really was wondering the other day how this temp would be

    120 archery
    120 swords
    120 stealth
    120 ninja
    120 tactics
    100 hiding

    now this temp would be for groups only.....sounds like fun.....a dismount stealth archer who can deathstrike......only con to it is having to rely on pots.......also u could lower stealth tactics and ninja to 90 use jewels to make them 120 and fit in 90 points in something else....maybe bush for nerve or alchemy for better healing and pot throwing.....is it realistic? does anybody run this?

    Check this out, As ya said bout lowering the other skills to 90 and putting 90 back into bush. Its ok i guess more so for the healing. But Had a buddy on Sonoma who ran the same temp but with 80 spellweaving with a level 5 maybe 6 focus. Damn pixes are killer.

    And with the 80 SW ya can heal, res , pretty much what ya looking for?

    I have a stealth macer death striking guy. He is fun at times and can be used well but over all I don't use him nearly as much as other chars.

    I mostly use a old general modded club with him for a quick dismount, then DS followed with a switch to a war axe. Bleed, AI and DS again. Most important thing is making sure you get a tracking off first to make the DS hit for everything you can.

    Heres my temp im working toward for pvp/factions

    resist 120
    ninja 120
    archery 120
    tactics 100
    steath 80
    hiding 100

    gives me about 75 extra points to use being that im only 715 skill points

    im thinking of throwing some in tracking for better deathstrikes unless that has changed since i been gone... what do yall think?

    You do realize that last post to this thread was in July 2010, but to answer your question...Deathstrikes with archery does a lot less damage than deathstrikes from melee dexxers. You could look at plus skill items such as the headdress, stealth robe or cloak, or shadow dancers, and you might be able to add a 120 melee skill to the template that would allow you to perform better deathstrikes, disarms, ect.
