Well, I'm back to playing off a break of sorts. And I need a pvm char. Any suggestions?
120 Weapon Skill
120 Spirit Speak
100 Magery ( for utility and gate travel )
720 Total Points ( if capped at 700 drop from Spirit Speak )
Why only 90 tac?
The bonus to tactics after 90, isn't worth the loss in points that can be used by other skills...la
Right... Your special moves are gained at 70 weapon skill and 70 tactics, and the second at 90 weapon skill and 90 tactics, so there is no need to have any more than 90 skill, as having more doesn't increase your chance of succeeding at the special move, it is your weapon skill vs. your opponents weapon skill that determines chance to hit, and therefore your chance to get a special move off.
You COULD bring Tactics to 100, or 120, but the gain in damage dealt wouldn't be wroth the points invested, as Rico said. You could just find a weapon with a higher damage increase to offset your lower tactics... besides, this template has Bushido on it!!! The best PVM Melee skill in my opinion. ( or archery ). Combined with Chiv and Necromancy, this template shouldnt have a problem healing.
Honoring a monster then killing it gives a great deal of life, mana, and stamina back, Close Wounds, Cleanse by fire, Spirit Speak ( which allows you to heal through poison ), and healing spells are all ways to heal and cure.
This template kicks NPC A$$!!!!
You could get in vampire form to avoid poisons ( lower levels of it ), or get in wraith form and clear a spawn with weapon and wither spell.
The template is crowded, so no parry or resist, but it is an offensive template anyway!
