I know LJ gives a damage bonus. I have always wanted to try something but always have been too skeptical ...

    120 Swords
    120 Tactics
    120 Anatomy
    100 LJ
    60 Necro
    40 Spirit Speak
    60 Chiv
    100 Heal

Between jewelry and armor you need to hit 4/6 casting, max HCI, and max DI. Shouldn't be a problem with faction arties.

Corpse skin someone, cast consecrate, evil omen, and crushing blow with an ornate axe (or whatever the highest dmg axe is with crushing). In my experience when people build suits poison resist (or cold) is the least important.

60 necro never fails to oath, corpse, evil omen, or pain spike, and 40 SS makes oath last like 3 seconds, corpse can last up to a minute, pain spike does 16ish damage. EO will last about 5 seconds.

I suppose it would also work with Archery without LJ and add med as well.

An ornate axe with 125 STR, 120 Anat, 120 Tact, 100 LJ, and 100 DI from items a normal hit does 75-83 Damage. Lets look at the high end, 83 plus 50% (crushing blow) puts you at 124 damage. 25% (Evil omen) of the 83 is another 20 damage. That puts the crushing blow at 144 damage assuming 0 poison resist.

Let's assume your target fully suited has 60 poison resist, corpse would bring them down to 45 poison resist. 144 * .55 = 79 damage, followed by a painspike of 16ish.

Even regular hits would do epic damage on someone that was knocked down to 45 poison. It would be 40-45 damage normal hits. At 180 stam with a 30 SSI Ornate Axe and a Divine Fury your swinging at 1.25.

Also - all damage is not including any Hit Spell.

So.. corpse skin, disarm (or even a reg hit, something to get them at around 95 HP), evil omen, crushing blow, pain spike.

Defense you'd have healing, 4/6 chiv healing (maybe 20-25 pts with low karma from corpse/eo/pains), and carry a 1 hander on equip last for chugging.

The more I think about it the more I want to try it.

Please reply and correct me if my calculations for damage are incorrect.

Go to test shard and try it out. Should be able to craft some good armour and weapons as well as the faction arties.

I don't understand what you mean by "did I already ask them to wait until I launch my combo?"

I guess I should have added that only intelligent replies would be welcome.

Of course I know they aren't going to stand still. But Is a mage going to run off screen because I corpse and EO'd him? Think before you post.

The question is more on how I calculated the damage. Does the EO stack on top of the crushing damage, or does it in fact take the 25% of the original 83 damage?

long ago, many people complained about the lumber/sword mix being invincible, with 1 hit kill. But, it seems that sometime it was nerfed. Is there a damage cap in all of that, from the ax?

The only damage cap is on Armor Ignore.

To normal players (if my math is right), it's possible to 2 hit kill someone depending on their resists (see original post).

Against players running around in wraith form doing despise, I'm betting I could pull off a 1 hit kill with the undead slayer talisman. I will be testing it tonight after work.

Corpse skin is a quick cast, I will probably run around with it precasted.

Evil omen is the fastest spell in the game, and I will actually be using it to disrupt mage spells.

Pain spike is also extremely fast, and will only use it for a kill shot if they are redlined and start to run away.

Consecrate weapon isn't disruptable (I don't think, maybe I'm wrong).

I have thought of similiar templates before. However, Bushido/Paladins seem to do more damage if your lookinf for raw power.

I disagree, show me any other template, tactic, or swing that has the capacity to do a 79 damage hit to another player.

In case anyone was wondering Evil Omen does not impact crushing blow.

I did, however, discover another tactic for this build that can do 92 damage in one shot with corpse skin and consecrate.. coming to great lakes soon!

I have decided not to publicly broadcast the next gimplate of the month after Conc Blow is adjusted.

I don't know of DI has the 100% cap in PvP... since the cap for PvM is 300%. Dunno if that would make a difference...

    Quite the interesting template though.

No Chaosy 2 dread mare tamers are enough for me. I'm actually changing one of them to this template since I'm out of character slots.

You'll have to log on GL for a minute once I finish the template so you can witness the awesome destruction of the next flavor of the overpowered gimplate of the month.

Nice idea, unless im mistaken, the max damage youll hit from crushing will be capped at 35. Maybe you should think of using a high powered Double axe(you know what mods im sure) and using the double strike move...providing you rack up enough HCI and the RNG goes in your favour (no parrying the second blow) you could theoreticaly hit for mid 90's in one hit (40ish from the hit *2, Hit spell * 2)

Crushing wasn't capped at 35 when I tested it though it didn't prove to be as powerful as I had thought it would. I figured out another gimpy tactic, I've got a build in progress.
