Since the other thread is buried in arguments, then I'll just write the conclusion here. I just gave her one of my accounts which I am paying for anyway, problem solved and she has full veteran status. (plus loads of unused vet rewards, tokens, etc.) I was kinda loathe to do this, as it would mean two less accounts for Mythic/UO in the long run for many years to come. (as when she'll need it, she'll get a second account I have as well, I have 10 accounts in total between my wife and I) Pretty sad the game has come to this state and that veterans have become so arrogant that they want to force their playstyle preference down over new players. I wish it wasn't so, as I love this game and would love to see more new accounts and players. But anyway, apart from the conclusion, here's my question to you all. How do you believe the game should be? Should it listen to veterans only? New players only? Be open to both and myriads of playstyles or should it gravitate more towards favoring a few play styles? Another issue that actually worries me, is that the game lacks a way to give input to the development of the game outside of Stratics (or other sites for that matter), so many new players unaware of Stratics would never have their opinion or voices heard. Should development time go into making a better way of letting the whole of UO be heard instead of a few?
