    The Last Stand
For generations Exodus held an icy grip on the lands of Sosaria and its Champion. Lord Blackthorn had been hidden away giving the Evil a firm toe hold on terror throughout the Realm. Order and the Virtues had once held a grasp in peace.

When Blackthorn escaped his dungeon the hold of Chaos was threatened. Such tensions and uproar should have been sufficient to plunge the world back into darkness. The nobility and the peasantry for a long time had been ripping at each other waging battles and wrecking towns. Now there is a new hope in order to reunite the towns and ease the hostilities.

For the sake of the Underworld Exodus has chosen one more Champion and his Mercenaries in which to bring an end to Blackthorn once and for all. The battle would be a final push and would be epic poetry when Blackthorn and his “guards” lose on the same battle field where it all began! So thinks the Exodus.

The other nail to the coffin of their pathetic spirits would come when it is discovered that the Nobles have been hiring Mercenaries from their sworn enemy the entire time. Those who they thought were disloyal to any crown or to rival cities were indeed the ones from the Great Mechanical Workshop they were all so afraid! They betrayed themselves all for the name of Private Advancement. Foolish mortals and their petty little lives, they are so easy to pit one against the other with barely a hint of being bested by another “inferior city”.

The death of a Queen and the world is plunged into darkness. They were so set on proving their superiority that they lost the Honor of the Heroes they proclaimed. Watching Blackthorn take the field of battle in hopes of uniting the broken would be a sight not soon forgotten.
