The new healing loot right system seems to be buggy

    My friends and I doing many champs, and we often got the problem that one get all scrolls and other doing more than 5% damage are getting nothing.

    I think it has something todo with the healing and the resurrection in the spawn. It might be that the loot right is calculated the following

    if healed = true then if healed more than 30% get loot right else if damage > 5% get lootright else nothing else nothing

    the problem here is that the calculation should depend on the damage first and if that is false it should consider the healing not in the other direction.

    It's been this way since the new system has come about. I do TONS of damage yet can't get a drop to save my life. I heal others I do everything I can and still NOTHING.

    It's definately broke. I have personally emailed Mesanna myself and explained in detail what I've encountered along with my guild at champs, em events and in general. She responsed it's not broke from the devs team point of view so it doesn't need fixing.

    Just out of curiosity how old are the chars your taking this info from?

    I only ask as i remember years and year and years ago there being issues with chars that are older than a certain point [dont rememebr details but someone might] were they were bugged.

    I had a char that had done doom from practically they day i started, i lvl'd my first char up in there and never had a drop in 3 years, someone posted something back then how they had a problem but as soon as they xfered to another server the first kill in doom dropped an arti and they had had 3 in 2 weeks. so i tried it and the exact same happened to me, first guild run in doom i got a jackals.

    Im just wondering if that bug has popped up again or if it is still affecting some chars? It just a thought but this post made me remember it.

    I don't personally think it has do with acct/char age. I think it's messed up with top damagers and I also think it's messed up somehow with tamers receiving rights for their pets fighting and vetting them at the same time. Maybe I'm way off, but I'm doubting it.

    Yes tamers are definitivly bugged with their pets having looting rightss in the way that if your pet turn blue (after a certain amount of time if no orders given to it, and if your in a guild you'll noticed it by switching from green to blue) if that pet does enought damage while being blue, it will mess all the scrolls distribution and probly the artifacts drop in the same way. This could be tested very easily by letting your pet turns blue, but it seems it doesnt always turn blue even if no orders are given this is all broke...

    That's the same BS I got. I'll say this using WoD as a mage doing 1000's of damage gets you NOTHING... Having an archer doing 1000's of damage gets you nothing especially if you armor ignore a lot... It's like all damage done from armor ignore and WoD don't count. I can't understand how I can do over 10k in damage on a mob and get NOTHING. With Pinco's I know exactly how much damage I'm doing... and I can say quite often I'm in the top 3 and still get nothing.

    Yes, this bug came in at the time of the healing/tanking change to looting rights. The problem is that it is inconsistent and it is hard to nail down exactly when it does and doesn't occur. It appears to rear its head most frequently at Scalis hunts, and my guild no longer does these as they are now a waste of time. Whilst I am sort of relieved to hear that it is being experienced outside of Siege, I am dismayed to find out that the Devs believe there is no problem.

    The issue was reported in the Bug Tracking forum back in September.
