The RNG has seemed just awful for me since the publish.

    Well, with crafting at least.

    50% exceptional chance on woodland gauntlets.

    I craft 10 in a row, none are exceptional. I've also had a streak of 9 non-exceptional and 7 non-exceptional. Those are just since I started keeping track.

    Edit: Change that 10-streak to 18. I crafted EIGHTEEN non-exceptional gloves in a row with a 50% chance. Wtf? At least the 19th gave me the resists I needed. Time to enhance and get a property I don't want!

    might be bad luck in that case, but some of the crafting numbers are screwed up, especially imbue. (you can actually fail on items you have 105% chance on....) Been like that since it was added though

    heh me too. I keep getting requests for the same 3 fish at almost every dock. So now I have like 50+ of all the other fish, and 0 of those 3.

    Try having 300+ of 3/4 the fish and not even 10 of the others from the same zone.


    Not sure the chance with lava poles. Last one when 23 cast before getting anything. Journal check. First few days had weapons (two from the first pole) None after the first.


    I like the bad odds but hate the bad luck.

    And I haaaaaaaaate heartwood. I enhanced 10 pairs of gloves. 0 HCI, 1 DI, the rest are crap.

    I'll be back to UO in another 6 months.

    6 random properties from heartwood. Of the two desired one came up in ten tries. Sounds about fair. Flip a coin and complian the third time is tails much?

    The greatest example of a bad RNG is at least the half dozen times I have gotten the same BOD back to back. That kind of luck I should of hit the PowerBall by now. And always a crappy BOD like 10n dagger or 15n wizard hat.

    I wasn't saying the RNG was bad about the heartwood part. Although I do believe some of those properties should just be removed, since they're useless. But not the point of this topic.

    I meant about the success chance on any crafting I've done. Like the 18 streak of non-exceptional gloves with a 50% exceptional chance. And my crafter has a 75% success chance on turquoise rings and still failed to create one seven times in a row last night.

    Problem with the RNG is you need to have a test sample of a few thousand to really test the accuracy. Something could still be wrong, but just saying.
