Thanks to Sarsmi and other great folks on this forum, I think I know what I need to do to place and then break up a soulforge so it doesn't take up so much space in my house. However, I have two questions about the "clean up" after successfully breaking the soulforge.

Let's say the only part of the forge I want to keep are the two tiles of the east-side anvil. Ok, so I twice lower the goza mat in the NW corner of the 4x4 set of mats on which I place the soulforge to break the forge. Then I axe all the soulforge tiles except the two for the east anvil.

    1) Do I just leave the remaining two anvil tiles raised up on their goza mats?
    2) Do I have to lock down both the anvil tiles AND the underlying goza mats? If so, I guess I'll need to create macros to target those goza mats before placing the soulforge on top of them (I use the EC).

    Thanks for your help!

Once the soulforge is broken, you can lower the remaining pieces to the floor with the house deco tool. The goza's can all be removed - just be careful to not accidentally remove the soulforge piece you want!

Thanks for the quick reply and advice, Tazar. I think I'll practice with something less valuable than a soulforge first, just to make sure I have the hang of things. :)

If you are at all worried about accidentally destroying part of the soulforge that you want - rather than redeed a goza, you might think about using the enhanced client for it. In the EC, a control-**** (set to default dynamic objects) will show a tag for the goza and you can use the axe on the tag to easily remove the goza.

You can lock down the pieces you want to keep, go into custom mode, and it will poof the non-locked down pieces (and any raised goza mats will go into the moving crate). Of course you can't do this in a classic home, and I haven't messed around with the enhanced client and this method at all. So user beware!
