    Hello everyone,

    I wanted to let everyone know that the issue with not getting your codes has been reported and I have someone working on it right now. After speaking with my contact at the Origin store the 2nd and 3rd Theme packs purchases did not go through even though they appeared as they did. There was an error in the labeling of the Theme pack and until this is corrected please do not buy more than one code per Origin account. As soon as this is fixed I will let you guys know.

    Can you check on the Rustic Theme packs too? I was going to order the Kings Collection but then changed my mind and bought the Rustic Theme pack, paid by paypal and no code. My origin order history also does not have it listed. Thanks for the post letting us know the store has problems!

    Update - Origin called me back and told me I was stupid (cause I was) - turns out the code was listed as "Serial Number" --- uh, my bad. +1 for Origin support! *is ashamed* ;) Still, my order history doesn't show that I bought it but the Serial Number worked.

    hi i pais for two codes and havnt even got one please just send me one to enjoy the game i have sent proof of purchase i repeat i didnt even get my first code and you still have them on sale

    This is just idiotic....

    Four UO accounts, bought the pack for one, no problems - but if I try buy another for one of the other accounts,

    "Ultima Online™ King’s Collection Theme Pack
    Direct Download: English (Americas)
    You've already purchased this item. Please remove the item to proceed with your purchase."

    So it registers my Origin account owns the code - and will not sell me another.

    I refuse to make separate Origin store identities simply to buy things from them..... if EA want the money, sort this stupidity out.

    For who had problems before getting a second or more code from te origin store should try again. I think its now all fixed.

    I'm stuck on hold with Origin help. In all honesty EA's customer support is sucking 50x worse than AT&T,
    I didn't even think it was possible to suck more than AT&T!

    Does clearing your cache and cookies help any if you're trying to buy another code? (I haven't tried buying even one yet, so I can't check it myself.)

    It didn't help someone I suggested that to, but that worked yesterday when I had trouble buying something else. The authorization failed, and I realized I put in an incorrect expiration date. I went back to checkout a few more times only to get the same error. Something kept sticking, I suppose. So I cleared my browser, closed and reopened it, no problem afterward.

    Last night was an utter failure after getting a worthless "This code has already been used" messages in game, and on the account management page. More heartache from the most worthless live chat advisor, after insinuations I had "accidentally" applied the code to another one of my accounts, grilled for all other emails for my accounts and the last 4 digits of the credit card I used to purchase a recycled code. Obviously since I only tried applying it to my account, I had no inkling of who's account it was already applied to. Half hour later, I was finally given a incident# and told to call the 1-866-543-5435 number between 3 am and 9 pm M-F to talk with someone higher up on the food chain.

    Called the above number at a reasonable time of day and had at least an hour wait on hold. Damien answered and he was totally considerate and listened to my issue. He asked for pertinent info in the right tone, and realized it was something Origin/EA support couldn't solve so he routed my call to the Mythic billing/problem solving division. Another long wait and I was talking to Robert, another good soul who tried to solve the issue, but he did find the code I purchased had already been applied before I bought it, and it was reassuring to hear him say it was nothing that I did wrong! Best he could do was refund the charge to my credit card, since he couldn't generate a new code. At least both he and Damien did make a good effort to identify and correct the issue, and were courteous. So kudos to them for performing under duress.

    Now, I just hope to see a credit on my statement within the next few days. In the meantime, I'm too gun shy to retry purchasing from that jinxed store! Guess I'll go without for now; have no desire to spend a half hour with live chat and 3 hours on my phone again.

    Wait for it...
    Is it safe?

    Well after spending since 12:00 my time on and off the phone with EA. I have been told this is an Ultima Online problem not an Origin Store problem.
    I was advised to email support.uo.com and there was NOTHING support could do. WTF ever I am disgusted and flustrated. Apparently NO ONE at EA wants to take ownership of the problem.

    And after a pointless exchange over their live chat system with a semi-literate person who had no clue at all about what to do, I was given a number to call for EA support - as I'm in the UK, I got a UK number... The person I spoke with there genuinely seemed to be trying to help, got all the details and promised he'd ring me back and email to let me know progress. Whoever he spoke with to try sort this out seems to be the most useless, ill-informed employee in the company, because here's the result of trying to sort out the problem....

    I have raised this to Ultima Online for you, they are working on it and should have it resolved in the next 24 hours. If you find you are still unable to buy multiple packs tomorrow please contact a GM in game or UO support on [email protected] and they will be able to help get the extra packs for you.

    An in-game GM can magically resolve an issue with the Origin online store refusing to sell me more than one King's Collection code..... or [email protected] can sort out a problem with the Origin store processing my order...

    They can't. The Origin store can, but they are so busy passing the buck to absolutely anyone else they can think of, they are not likely to get around to fixing much.

    Anyone want to guess if my response to their survey suggested I considered their service " the world's best customer experience"?

    Any chance at all of being told the email address for whoever in EA oversees both customer service and the Origin store? Some people pretty obviously need replacing at both....

    Okay I decide to put my techno and devious brain to work. I also put Jirel to work too. Jirel used to work as a receptionist so she KNOWS the tricks to get pasted one....IE: "takes a hacker to catch a hacker" , same thing applys here. Okay, well got to Mesanna's vmail left her a polite but unhappy message. That's what I call taking it to the next level, to heck with passing me around like some freakin party favor. Now let's see what happens. :D Never try to out smart a NERD, you'll hurt yourself! LOL

    *UPDATE*

    Okay exchanged emails with Mesanna today, and she's on the job. Also still working with Origin to figure why they won't accept any of my CREDIT CARDS.

    The account billing specialist was able to get one purchase to go through, then 2 things happened. It blocked my cards AGAIN, and AT&T in all their glorious suckage dropped the fudging call.

    Have I mentioned how much I HATE AT&T wireless and how I KNOW there is a special level of hell reserved for cellphone companies? Okay, moving on...

    The real disturbing part of this is the code purchase was made with J's Amex and it charged to my MasterCard. I purchased the first code with my MasterCard, then when it blew up with my attempt to purchase the 2nd code on Monday. I tried using J's Amex as well as J's MasterCard. All payments failed.

    This is the biggest mess I have EVER seen. I may just use EA as a case study in how NOT TO TREAT CUSTOMERS, for my Business Mgmt. class this fall.
    It'd also make a hellva term paper on how not to treat one's customers.
