[UO Herald] Consolidating Master Accounts

    Those players who want to consolidate all their accounts under one email address can now call 650-628-1001 or email [email protected] and get this done through billing support. You should clearly request that the support merges your master accounts through the system so everyone understands what you want done.

    If you ever want an account unlinked you can get this done through the billing support at the above phone number, too.

    Too bad this is so lacking in information...

    Is the nine account limit fixed?

    If it isn't, you might want to mention that so people with that issue don't waste their time calling or emailing only to be told "Sorry, we can't do that. Keep waiting..."

    I would assume so. I can't at this moment think of any other reason someone would want to consolidate master accounts. The only reason one would have multiple master accounts would be due to the nine account limit.

    Many many many siege players have a number of accounts ranging between 20-30. Myself included. With only one character slot per account it becomes helpfull for us there. Not to mention the fact that at holidays when they hand out 5 holiday tickets on prodo shards we get 1! hehe im not complaining bout this because obviously i have plenty of accounts to get more.

    Have you ever tried phoning that number from Canada? It isn't toll free and being expected to wait in que on line for half an hour or more before someone takes the call, is not reasonable, especially since you spend more time when and if they try to fix your problem. This happened to me. I don't think that support line was working then. We sure could use a toll free line to call support when and if neccessary to talk to someone in person.

    Why should we HAVE to assume?

    Why can't they just come out and say, "unlimited acct can now be linked to one email", or "20 accts can now be linked to one email" or what ever the change was.

    Why are we left to guess?!?

    I thought about trying to answer your inane ramblings but I will just stick with this: Read more than just one sentence, think about it, and if you need help with more than nine accounts follow the instructions and call or email them. If they don't say you can do it through account management then you can probably bet safely that it isn't fixed through the online system.

    Oh, and Warhammer people got Free Stuff for linking accounts:

    "You can get Pendragon's Knot/Avatar's Ankh by contacting our billing department and having them link your accounts together for you. You can contact our billing department by phone at (650) 628-1001 during the hours of 10 AM to 10 PM EST. You can also use the forms at Mythic Entertainment | Warhammer Herald to contact them. "

    what does UO get? a possible loss of characters/items? wha?

    People who had used the same email when Warhammer came out already got those items.

    Maybe contact someone at Bioware about a toll-free number for calls from Canada. They're responsible for UO now and Bioware kinda pats itself on the back for being a Canadian company. You can find some Bioware contact information here: Contact BioWare | BioWare .

    Most likely nothing more than a usual statement to clear them of any event no matter how unlikely it may or may not be.

    What am I missing here?

    exactly costumer service was an 800 number now everyone in the world needs to call San Francisco California directly.

    The E mail has no instructions


    People from San Francisco are very strange.

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

    Let me be the first to cry out "BALLOCKS!!"

    I have around 25 accounts and I spoke to the lead account specialist at Origin and his opinion of Mythic and their claims was downright awful. Not only did he claim that there was still a limit on accounts, he said that no workaround had even been scheduled. He called the posting on the UO Herald a "complete waste of time written by people who have NOTHING TO DO WITH BILLING!!!"

    I had to get all my accounts under three different emails. They were able to do this at that time and I was up an running quickly. However, the dream day of all accounts under one master account is just that, folks, a dream.

    I hope they get it straight. In the meantime, I am still playing!

    BTW Here was his work around for more than ten accounts:

    Go To accounts menu
    Create a mythic master account with a new email
    Go to "Link Account" while you are logged in under that
    On the bottom where it says "Master account" put in the name of the account you have not linked yet followed by an underscore and then the letters uo (i.e. account name Robert would become Robert_uo)
    Then put in the password for that account and hit link
    This will link the account to the new mythic master account

    Yes the limit on the number of "mythic master accounts" linked to an "EA account" is still as before.
    I think that what they can do is to move the game accounts (cointained inside the various "mythic master accounts" linked to an "EA account") all into a single "mythic master account".
    So that you can go to the "subscriptions" tab and see all the game accounts in one single list.

    You are not creating a mythic master account, you are creating a new "EA account". They are two different things.

    Did you request the merge of game accounts or master accounts? Because the original post is talking specifically about the merger of master accounts. I ask because those two are different things.
