Speaking of PvP - is EA ever giving us our towns back in Fel? On Siege this can be a problem since the current situation REQUIRES gating to do escorts since only one compassion town has a moongate. We have lost half our towns, 60% of our stables, heartwood, and community collections.

Almost forgot, on a shard that has no recall or sacred journey, the faction players have an uninteruptable recall!! Also, on a shard where ONLY normal spellbooks are blessed, we now have blessed UBER books.

The uber faction junk is bad enough. If EA plans to make Siege a Faction only shard - no new players or non PvP players welcome, PLEASE TELL US so I can close my accounts.

Very intriguing! I hadn't read much about the new champ spawns yet, but this sounds really cool (wonder how it works).

Many non-pvpers play on siege. Who else makes the potions, armor, apples, egg bombs? Could be that about half the folks here don't PvP. Siege is an advanced shard, it is fel rules, it has travel and training differences. It certainly isn't exclusively PvP. The largest guild on siege is a crafting/PvM guild.

I noticed that at least two of the questions answered today were left-overs from the HoC Chat. Thanks for remembering and answering these! :)

After each HoC, the QTs send the unanswered questions in to Chrissay for possible inclusion to the FoF.

That was one of the better FoF's we've had a in a while. Actually answered some nagging questions.

"when using a throwing weapon, ... the damage and hit chance bonuses will give them an edge in combat."

Does that mean it's overpowered, by design, and to be nurfed later?

No, it means it was suggested it sounds better to say "gets a bonus for the sweet spot" than to constantly talk about "takes penalties for everywhere but the sweet spot".

If it's the same numbers either way, do you have a preference for how it sounds?

Last I knew it is only possible to have 1 character on Siege and some players, EVEN on Siege and Muegen, prefer playing a crafter.........

Crafter are not exactly the best fighters, are they ?

Even on Siege and Muegen "some" places MUST be a safe haven.......

    From the FoF :

Something does not add up to me.......

"Up close, you will find that it's harder to hit an opponent with a throwing weapon"

Lots of misses when throwing at a close range it seems.......

"while at the farthest ranges, your throwing weapon will have slowed down as it begins to return to you, so it will hit with less force and do less damage"

Very low damage at long range it seems.........

Hmmm, so close is not good, far is not good, when is throwing eactly good then ??

I would assume mid range but does this mean that in the middle of a fight one needs to count the tiles and position accordingly from the target for best effect ?

Sounds not an easy offensive skill to deal with.......

By the way, are the differences significative or marginal ?

That is, is it worth the hassle to count the tiles for best results or the differences are so marginal one can well not bother ?
