    Publish 77.0 comes to Origin with tonights maintenance. These are the changes to the Publish 77.0 Notes:
    Faction Silver Changes
    • Containers of Sending will no longer accept silver.
    • Silver rewarded for capturing a town sigil has been increased to 750 from 100.
    • Silver rewarded for faction kills has been increased to 100 per victim faction rank from 40.
    • Silver rewarded for faction trap kills has been increased to 100 from 40.

    Factions is pretty much dead now. The players gave up because the devs did. What little change they're doing now is too little too late.

    After reading more patch notes this patch kind of sucks. Points for taking damage and healing? You might as well throw the stealth back in that botched system they tried to install a few years ago.

    As far as the silver purchasing system for the "new" rank 1 arties. Why would you bother even moving them to rank 1 if you were going to make the silver cost up to 10x higher? That's a ****ty idea and the higher ranked gear was the stuff the people were complaining about not getting anyways which is why you reduced it to rank 1 to begin with!

    No one is going to farm 50k for ONE tier 5 artifact.

    The good things I saw were the increased silver given, (kill silver should have been scaled vs rank) 30 day decay on the gear, altered gear, and the moonbound status.

    I think the whole endless farming for silver is going to drive players to the hot spots to get the gear, but why would you spend all your time in getting gear that is going to decay in 30 days? Yeah this reduces the Trammel players from getting it with the decay timer force players to farm ... farm... farm.... it's going to get boring really REALLY quick.
    Think Dev's should actually listen to the players ideas about faction and see if they can do something similar, I think this "Fix" is going to doom Faction/Faction Gear pushing all Causal players away from Faction (all the people that have a job, a Life and pay the game subscription fee, most adults).

    Please LISTEN TO US; People are asking to Fix Faction and Faction Gear on Trammies ( this means that Faction SYSTEM is Broken/Dead) all of it, not just the GEAR The point in Faction is numbing to Capture a Town .. for what?! ....No reason behind it what so ever just to SAY that you own it. THIS is the reason why ONE Faction always hold MOST of the towns Cause nobody cares to hold the towns.

    Here's an Idea that will Fix UO economy and Faction ALL-IN-ONE fix

    Progressive PVP: A reason to Hold a town (Game Play)
    Able to "Build" Towers and defenses for the town.
    Give a Perk for HOLDING that particular town
    Enable Resource Demand for Holding the town IE: Need Iron/metal (a resource) to enable Armor X to be worn (hence "Faction Armor")
    Players sell to a vendor of Faction holding.
    Enable Risks: Loot-able Armor/Moonbound in Trammel.
    (if your good enough to stay alive and not get looted, then you should beable to keep your hard earned gear)
    Prevent recall/Gates into towns (must walk into town, risk of your Supply line)
    If town is to be taken, all supplies are lost and gained by the OTHER Faction.
    Any Blue players in Enemy "Land" are "Orange" to opposing Faction
    In war- anyone who is on enemies land can be killed with no penalty (back in the day Men were killed, woman were .......- Kill'em all!!)
    Enable Supply Vendor: player own or NPC which ever the system works better with supply and demand

    Perks (Faction Gear)
    Towns makes the gear low silver cost, No ranks to determined ability to wear it, just Supply and Demand

    The prices are so extrem over / utopia high that you have complete destroyed it now !! ............

    My Old Armor was arround 20000 Silver what i farm in 1 hour for nekro/mage now 182000 Silver whats over 900% more and complete inacceptabel !!

    So Fraktions Mage is now dead/sleeping :(

    People want PVP and easy/fast gear and not stupid wow gold/silver farming !!

    Yeah, factions are nearly as dead as before the introduction of the faction artis. It's a real shame!

    make it unplayable so they can in good conscience kill it and no one will care?
