Doesn't say if the cloaks will need repaired... Before you transform them into these new cloaks they dont so hopefully after they wont either.
Is this what the new patch is for? I see nothing in the notes, log in screen, or on UOHerald about the new patch.

What happens if you experience a client crash in a champion spawn region?

Um, repairable bracelets and tally? I guess you missed repairable rings?
Boy... you're really going for this repairable stuff. Replicas, imbuing... is this an attempt to make things recyleable via breaking? Eventually, everyone will have things that break.
I always crash, but I did see it mention that there's a 10 min window.

I hope corpses that have been Spirit Speak'd don't count as a missing corpse. Cause I have trouble finding it when someone takes it via SS and they turn to bones. Check that Supreeme!
That's one very creative way to handle the item dependency! Everything breaks!
KR currently shows on the radar map where your corpse is. With the new 2D client incorporating the same map, it should be fixed.

I would think the bolded part should cover a crash.
As far as I know, UO can only detect the absence of the UO Client, not specifically the reason.

Yup KR does, but I hate when the dynamic handles don't show your corpse when they get boned. Thank goodness for the blue swirl!

I hope the Gem will be randomly distributed to people that damaged the shadowlord instead of being on the corpse or ground..... I reallly hope

woot im glad i saved about 140 cloaks of corruption all this time...
wont this make factions even worse between the summoning and the after effect of 2 of the 4 factions having extra benifits?
I must have missed something. Got the patch went to test and it is still on publish 57??? Nothing new there
I did read the notes. I even read that line. I guess I missed the last part about accidental disconnects having the 10 minutes grace period.

If a player logs out in a champ spawn area all the non equipped “cursed” items on them will drop to the ground
This will only affect players who log out beyond the 10 minute grace period; accidental disconnections will not be punished"
What about those log on server problems? I hope that don't pop up again or you gonna have alot of pissed off players.
These cloaks seem a little underwhelming...
1% SDI? On a spell that does 30 damage, thats a whole 0.3 extra damage.
I understand not wanting to make them overpowered, so everyone has to wear them, but 5% would have been a good balance.
Since the cloaks take up the quiver spot, least if I remember correctly, and the quiver of infinity already offers 5% DCI, i would love it if the new cloaks offered a choice of 5% SDI or 5% HCI.. As it is, this cloak of death is not going to be on my shopping list.. the other 2 maybe, could always use a HP bonus/regen, and 3 extra stat points. but the 1 hci/dci/sd maybe just for my necro who since it is 'cloak of DEATH' and all.
Well, the Cloak of Corruption is a robe. So if it´s still a robe after changing it to one of the other cloaks then you can still use the quiver...
You're right, it was the 'cloak of humility' that takes same spot of quiver, it is that they both called cloak that through me off..
Maybe I'ma slow reader, or slow to comprehend...but it also mentions a cloak of silence...

To me, it's a wildcard thrown in I haven't heard of before.
3 per server on the shard of the Gem... another BIG reason why I will ALWAYS believe that shard Xfers should NEVER have been able to include items.
I held onto over 200 cloaks of corruption for months and months and months of being told I'll be able to do something with them and that's the crap I get?

Of course it is possible that we have to end up "killing" each of them more than once before we actually defeat them, could end up being more than 3. Tho I sort of agree with you.
The way I read it, it will only be one set of three. While we may have to "kill" them multiple times, it will only drop the gem after it is killed the FINAL time:
# The final battle with the Shadowlords. Rewards include three “Shards of the Gem of Immortality” (one per Shadowlord), and major artifacts.
Will be Handed out by the EM's. No idea what they do....or any sort of lore or anything like that behind them....not sure if that answers your question or not

I sure hope these new Cloaks are NOT elven-type ones similar to the Corruption ones. Just give us some hooded robes that look so much better plz.

With the Ghost changes, if a murderer dies in serps hold/fire dungeon, can they not jump into despice as a ghost, alternatively can they not jump into destard and then into the terra keep? So you mean to tell me if i die on a red in fire dungeon/serps docks, i have to head out the front of destard and go red healer hunting or help stuck? Freakin brilliant. does that also mean if you are dead in the star room, you can not walk into the terra keep? Guess i could hop on test and check it out
EDIT: So i just went to destard, died, and jumped into terra keep no problem. How is this supposed to work?
Is test center really running publish 59? It's still showing publish 57 upon log-in and I have not come across any new content.
