    Quick question...why can I only purchase one code at a time. Even when I get to my cart, I cant have multiple codes for the same item (legacy tokens as an example)?

    I'm going to buy 4 but I have to buy them with 4 separate purchases...seems odd to me...la

    I think they did that to deter credit card thieves.

    I believe the UOGC was originally designed and developed by a freshmen highschool project (jk)

    Seriously.. theres no need anymore to have

    1) purchase restrictions
    2) limited purchases per month

    Anymore.

    It's basically bad business and EA is just shooting their self in the foot by doing so. Just the other day I found my self needing 3 soul stones and the only way I figured I could get some was purchase a few tokens online. Go figure I could only buy 2 of the 3 I needed.

    You can buy 4 codes a month. I understand they wanted to prevent people from buying the items in mass then selling them in game, but come on. All I want to be able to do is to buy all 4 at once. Sure, I can do it, but it take 4 times as long to do it...*shrugs*, seems like they could make it easier for themselves to make money...la

    In addition to the website they should also remove the account verification thing. It's not bad enough that the site once housed a trojan but someone whose actually good at hacking could not only obtain your CC info but your account too.

    The site doesn't appear to be well maintained. It just suits its purpose and thats all its good for.

    And why do they only offer 90 days time codes now? The Japanese Site sells 30/90/180 day codes. I already ranted about this on another thread so I won't go off here, just wanted to relist this in a thread that was appropriately titled.

    I don't understand the differences between US and Japanese sites either. Either there is a game wide offer, or their isn't. I'm not typically one to worry about "fairness" but come on, if they can offer it to the Japanese, why not to the whole player base?...la

    You might want to try using the "Contact Us" option via the Support pages to place an order for multiples of a particular item. I've done it in the past and it worked fine...it just takes a few days.

    I believe the first time I did it, I had a response with codes in a few hours. The next time it took 2-3 days and I ended up providing the required information not only in my initial request but also in a follow-up reply. It was a different CS rep each time, so probably the first one had experience and the second one didn't and just pitched the request back to me for additional info just to get it out of their work queue.

    Rico, this has been a mystery since the beginning. It has nothing to do with card theft. It "may" have been related to item saturation, which is very unlikely - no one associated to EA at the decision maker level has ever been promoted or even retained for revenue denial. I do recall that prior to the site being opened, there was a contract bid for operation, i.e. it was outsourced. Unfortunately, I can't recall the source of this information. My guess has been/ remains that in the outsorcing process, ease of operation was lost to prioritizing profit for the host agency. I suspect they are paid by quantity of transactions, thus the cumbersome and restrictive process we've suffered through over the years. It needs to be fixed, period. There's no excuse for it.

    yes, that was the reason. Brazil anyone ? ;) To prevent such a disaster from happening again, the purchases became limited and account bound. Hadn't been that way before.

    I've found out that if you call and order, they'll sell you as many tokens as you want. I HAVE to call, because uocodes site is always broken for me; it will never take my UO account. They refuse to fix it.
     

  18. I have to do that as well. Never have been able to get the site to accept my account info in all the years its been up.. just last month I decided to type in an inactive account to see if it would take the that account it did but told me the account wasnt old enough. Every time I use my main account on there it just loops back to the login screen for account info with no message or anything. Its like I never even attempted to verify my account.
     
  19. Do either of you have the UOGC # and could PM it to me?

    Also before PM'ing it, can you tell me now cut and dry if they speak clear english? I'd like to know if I have the slightest chance at understanding who I'm talking with before I give them my CC information. The slightest stutter from the foreign representitives throws me into utter confusion as to "wtf did he just say?"
     
  20. just call cust. support and tell them what you want to purchase and how many...They will be fine with it. I have done so in the past and that is how these other sites get thiers.
