vent a little about EA/ORIGIN/GM

    Ok i need to vent a little about EA/ORIGIN/GM

    on Monday 5th I order the Rustic Theme Pack (RTP) I then loged in the game with my serial number and went to the (Promotional Code) I put my number in and i got a deed in my pack for the Raised Garden Bed. so now I go to place my garden bed, and get a message that i need to have RTP (see figure 1).

    so i log back in the Origon. and find a live chat. and tell them that i put the S/N in and got the deed for the garden bed. so thay tell me i need to page a GM, so off to talk to a GM I go. the GM took about 5min. *wow not bad*. now i tell the GM about putting the S/N and getting the deed and I can't use it. he tells me that i need to call this number. (see figure 2)

    I call the number the GM gives me. and tell them about getting the RTP and talking to the Live chat and then talking to the GM. the guys on the phone tells me that it is not them and i need to tell the GM it is a in-game problem. so back to the game I go.

    It take the GM about 5min again. and I start telling them about getting the RTP and how i got the deed. and about talking to a GM. also told them about calling. and how that person told me to tell the GM that it is an in-game problem. The GM tells me that i need to call that number again. (see Figure 3) after talking a bit about the message i get when i click on the deed. so back to the phone

    Now I have someone on the phone. and tell them about all the running around I been doing. he starts telling me that I need to talk to a GM. I tell him that the GM told me theres nothing in game he can do. so the guy on the phone tells me he is a supervisor and he will look in to this. and puts me on hold. he comes back and ask me some more questons, then puts me on hold again. now he comes back and tells me that the CCD is in pending. and call them back in a day.

    so the next day i check my bank and it's not in pending. so i log in to the game and try the deed again. and still get a message telling me that i need the RTP so I think to my self I better give it one more day. the next day I try the deed again and still the same. so i call the phone number again. and tell them that it's not in pending. and thay look in to it. and don't know whats going on. and have to send it to a higher department. and that I will get a phone call or someone will e-mail me. that same day, I get a e-mail telling me thay haven't heard from me in a while and the case will be closed and to click on the link to review the details. so I go to click on the link and it doesn't work... OMG ... (see figure 4) so i log in to Origin and find my way to my case files and there is a place to leave notes. so I tell then the link doesn't work and that the problem still is not fixed. now I go to click on "add note". and nothing happens to my text, the text is still there. so i click on it 5 more times still nothing. well so much for that.

    the next day i log in again and try the deed. still get the same message, I then log in to Origin, and check my case file. it's still opened. so much later in the day I get a e-mail telling me I need to put the S/N-code in the Promotional Code. so thinking thay reset the code I copy and pasted the number in. and it tells me that the code is been used (see figure 5 & 6)

    going on 6days now. and today is saturday. hmmm hope there open on saturday. :wall:

    Yeahits good that petra knows, but how was he supposed to know? After all that run around they gave him, itsjust another example of their ****ty customer service. I mean what if he didn't read stratics and have access to petra's infinite wisdom? more ea/origin fail. I would have reversed payment and told them to shove their garden bed up their asses, but I have my own issues with ea/origin.

    Actually, I know because I read the email that came with my codes. I got mine before the account upgrade, maybe the same info isn't included in newer purchases It says:
    I realise this info is no longer valid since the upgrade btw

    ginsu i hope everthing works well for you today sounds to me like they should hire better poeple on there GM and costumer support teams. Or at least make people play the game a month before becoming either of these

    all i got for a e-mail was my billing info. nothing about where to place the number.

    I cannot find ONE sight that "Currently" is supported by UO.
    The current UO sight is no longer going to be kept up by ANY UO owner/company owner.
    This sight is being kept updated by people who ARE NOT BEING PAYED TO DO SO. Meaning when the people doing it for free are fed-up with it/bored of it then this sight too will not be updated.

    Somewhere there are 2 factions... One that wants to upgrade a very old game and keep it going, the other faction wants to close it down and let a dying horse lay. The person or group of people that currently own this game IMO have no idea what this game is, they only care about the bottom dollar line.

    Queen Zen is leaving soon... Most the honorable people are gone... The one true D-bag we cannot get rid of, causing more people to leave.

    Playing this game "alone" has reached its limits. GIL isn't hardly on anymore either. Being the only LARGE constantly restocking vendor seller has reached its limits too.

    I'm down to 1 account (from 5) and it's hard to keep paying for it due to the crappy management via accounts/GM/Support/Whatever. Seeing WOW promoted via high payed actors (Chuck Norris, MR. T, ect) makes me sick. We cant even get online promotions.

    I'm at the point that I'll happily support UO's downfall just so I can say I was a supporter to the end... taking my choice away and making it final.

    ok I called today.
    so I start telling this guy about whats going on. and all the running i been doing. he seen the messages i left on the (add notes). He then ask me if I put the code in the accont management. I tell him. the message I get when I do. so he makes a temp password and logs to accont management and puts the code in and gets the same message. and then puts me on hold.
    to go work on fixing this.

    now the guy comes back on and tells me that there is nothing he can do and that
    he sent the info to. another deparment and i should here something from them in
    3 to 5 business days. and that I might get a e-mail about the case being closed
    and if I dont here from them in 3 to 5 to call back.

    You know. . . It almost sounds like their new 'store' might be sending out messed up numbers? You did purchase this from the new store, right? Or maybe you made the last-ever purchase from the old store, lol! (That would be *my* luck.)

    Be sure to keep (and scan in) your receipt that shows that you paid for the theme pack (i.e. your bank or credit card statement rather than an EA generated email receipt) - if it is a glitch with the new store, you might need to produce that.

    Also, I haven't looked in UHall, but that might have been a better place to post this - where the most 'official' eyeballs will see it.
