For the longest time I had been running my tamer at 80 dex for purpose of healing speed with vet, but recently a guildy told me that dex does not impact heal time for Vet.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Hum, I have never understood Dex to play a Role in healing (or veting) other than perhaps secondarily as a function of defense.

Well with healing, it decreases the amount of time needed to apply a bandage, and I always assumed that the same applied to Veterinary until now

Dex won't help you vet any faster.

Found this in an old FoF (like Feb '07 vintage :D)

So you can play with your dex as you wish :)

For a short period of time a few years back, they changed it so that dex affected vet speed just like healing. Didn't go down well and it was removed.

Dex now doesn't affect vet. So enjoy :D Unless you want to add a combat skill and make a paladin/tamer.
