Visible Pet Buffs?

Ok, so I looked around this site and also googled, but couldn't find an answer to my question. Is there any way to see what buffs are currently active on a pet? It would be nice if the pet bar had icons on it for any active buffs like players see for their own. I don't see any option for this in the 2d/kr/sa clients. I can't believe they don't have this option in the game already :cursing: . I recently picked up SW to go along with taming and would like to see when certain buffs like gift of renewal and gift of life wear off. Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to get this to show.

I am not certain I would want such a capability. But then I acknowledge that I think that all MMORPG's give the player way to much information. We are so inundated with information that we no longer even try to be cognizant of our environment.

*Shrug* Just take the above with a grain of salt as I have no desire to impede the play style of others.

I kind of suspected that there would be no way to see this, but was hoping maybe some custom UI would have the ability.

It's too bad that it isn't something that can be toggled so you and I could both have what we want. I always have the pet bar pulled anyway so I can keep a close eye on health. Having icons show up under it for certain buffs (and debuffs for that matter) wouldn't really add more complexity...for me personally.

I view my pet as an extension of myself and it would be nice to have more visibility into what is affecting it. I don't think it's game breaking as is, but it would be helpful.

Aside from loring and spotting a change in the pet's stats to denote a bless etc, there's no way of doing this unfortunately.

I have to confess, I barely pay attention to my own buffs bar let alone those my pets might get :D It would be cool to know if an untamed pet had just blessed itself to look fancy when it wasn't, but I'm not sure I'd really want too much info.
