    This question is based on the way Mysticism is being use in pvm/pvp.

    please leave message about what u like about it or what should be fixed.

    Not only is it STILL over powered it makes PvP BORING!!!!!!

    Sadly just watch the PvP on LS It consists of 30 mystic gargs grinding, casting RC, and timing a hail storm. Once again it has taken away the "sandbox" aspect of UO, because all the other mage templates cannot compete against a group of 10 mystics.

    IT SUCKS FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You're forced to fight mystics WITH mystics. So everyone plays them, and they're all you see in pvp when it comes to choke fights/champ spawns.

    They're a cakemode toon anyone can pick up and play well, with little knowledge, because you can negate everything another target can dish at you easily. This takes away the reward for players intimately knowing the class and character counters in situations, because all a mystic has to do is cleansing wind. On top of that, the spell hits multiple targets.

    They can precast and hold a RC while their other RC (that takes up all pet slots) is in play.

    Hailstorm does not have split damage among targets.

    Animate weapon and hailstorm can be cast into private homes, after specific mage spells were stripped of this feature.

    Protection and Stoneform stack.

    In combination with all these overly powerful features, the have a get-out-of-fail-free card (healing stone) that also can act as a cure (on the already DoT/Poison immune stoneform)

    Mystics are easily the most dumbed down class

    Look at it this way:
    A new player picks up UO (I laughed too) They say they want to play competitively and plan to PvP as well as PvM. They do not plan to spend any real money on the game, as they already pay the sub. fee to lowly populated servers and a sometimes-functioning store. Do you tell them to make a mystic or a sampire? You'd be wasting their time to suggest anything else, and you'd probably say mystic because a good sampire will cost some $$ to gear out right. No one these days is going to take the time to explain to a new player on how to build a self-sufficient account with your character slots, so why take the time to teach them anything when you can give them a mystic template!

    i do agree with the flying with gargoyles and able to place RC.. even though it is a summon, i should be used only if on foot. (add- garg/tamers).

    very true here.

    the pvm side it well complexed to where u dont really need a big group to do some the tougher things in uo and myst. has that boost there where it gets the job done. do like that ;-).

    the pvp needs to be tweaked alittle better to fit the templates out there.

    Hailstorm is just plan to powerfull- damage should be divided by all the players being hit by spell. also shouldnt reveal hiding chars.

    Cleansing Wind - I know they did a patch about the more debuff on target reduces the chance of curing and getting healed. Skills that have defuffs are still flawed. the casting time for re-buffing a target and the mana cost is just crazy to attempt. Also a good plus is i think they shouldnt be able to stack with enchanted apples. the timer of a cleansing wind should be the timer . (Cleansing wind casted on target a player cant eat a apple for 30 sec.)

    Purge Magic - this not to bad as in powerful but i think the casting is just to fast . i think this spell is very good for potions just cuz u can use another instantly . but for ppl casting say bless, protection, forms , reflect. cant even recast them becuz purge is desrupting them . Purge i think needs to have a better resistance chance on the ppl that spam the spell. * side note* they need to put back purging ninja forms , all other forms can be purged )

    i think they should take closer look in Mysticism Skill. if they wish to leave it stay that way it is then all they need to do raise the mana cost on the spells .

    The only thing that really annoys me is that it takes a mystic to kill one tbh... You can sit in protection or stone form and spam cleanse... Takes a mystic OR a necro in WRAITH FORM to kill a good one because nobody else out there can purge the person out of protection except for another mystic. Wraith form to drain their mana and well, mage is generally useless without mana considering that's what their spells are derived from.

    I really only hate a few things about mysticism:


    Cleansing Winds does too much when paired with protection-stone form

    10 people in stone form-protection throwing out rising colossus and dropping hail storms (since they don't divide the dmg like meteor swarm)

    The only thing that counters a group of mystics is a better group of mystics (purging)


    It was nice when mystic came out, to have another option for a caster, but basically everything revolving around stone form-protection (add cleansing winds to that too i think) needs tweaked. Make it so like, rock form can absorb x amount of dmg before the nice effects come off, or make it so you CANNOT pair protection with stone form. could make cleansing winds cure OR heal, but not both. Then add the ability to poison someone in stone form.

    Theres alot of very subtle tweaks that could be made that would benefit anyone who has to deal with a large group of pro-stone form mystics.

    well there in lies a slight problem. If someone is in protection-stone form, you cannot debuff them, which in turn gives them max cleansing winds. So when in a group the only sensible option is to have other mystics who can purge.

    I think that conversation is a murderer, they want to continue with its supremacy over the other players, I have a mystical, but I play alone in 97% of my time every time I put to run one of these killers, they go back in a bunch, and with this I have no chance, and note that I'm interested in not pvp, I only have the right to go wherever I want, and not only them (pkiller) leave because they want to limit out instead of someone they only want to have fun, do not limit the group attacks do they do? I make a suggestion: why not imposes a fair fight? can come in groups, but only one each time a player can attack innocent and alone?
    What is the thrill of attacking a player with five or more alone? Just because he put to run a murderer and thief, who comes to take everything you have to be blessed or not insured?
