So if Broadsword/UO bought a thing for Voxel Farm which I hear they could do now. It would be kinda cool if they could do that and build UO in 3d...

We as players could design the Cities in 3d... Taking a building and copying it into the game... trying to match each detail... The Art guy could work on redoing all the props in 3d...

And after a couple years we could have a working template of Britannia in 3d. After that we could work on each of the other lands one by one. Adding them in Order with the Lost Lands, then Illshenar, then Malas, Tokuno, Etc till it was all done... and the "dungeons" would really be caves... Mining would be mining ....
You could actually chop down trees... etc. What I wouldn't give for that.

If EQ can get the players to rebuild Norath in Voxel Farm's engine then why can't we build Sosaria?

This would be awesome, I've played quite a bit with Landmark and what creative members of it's community have created is amazing.

I don't want to come in and sound like negative Nancy Jones or nothing, but rebuilding the world would be one 1 part, then you have to add in the armor, and various UO assets, like dye tubs, troll wall trophies, archery buttes, water troughs, various monsters in 3D, like Balrons, Succubus, Stygian Dragon, Medusa, all kinds of weapon designs. I like UO art like it is, wish they'd add more hair and beard, and asthetic things, maybe even different paperdoll art for cc and ec, like people in different poses and faces than what they got now. I like UO Art, in that I don't look like some mix between a metro weight lifter and a bad cosplay cross dresser gone wild with massive pauldrons and stupid looking over sized meat cleavers for arms and legs. And that seems to be all the rage in modern 3D games.

Ever since broadsword took over, I think even the average uo joe can tell they really trying to do things with UO, some of the vets have issues with it, but I think secretly deep down everybody got a little excited about something broadsword has been doing. I'm still happy I can re-equip blessed items when I get my corpse back, saves me from digging around 30 spell books trying to find that 1 slayer, and not slapping myself in the face for using a cbd on tangle or cc.. Not that I've ever died or anything..

I honestly don't think they were really working at it. To be honest. I think they just said they were to keep some folk in the game.
