First off, why Vesper wasn't added I have no idea. It looks to be one of the best possible towns to do VvV in with all the bridges and choke points. I don't really have a lot else to say about it other than I was highly disappointed that it wasn't included in VvV.

Trinsic, on the other hand, has an absurd about of NPCs walking about stam blocking VvV players and half of them will flag red players.

Vesper isn't a virtue town, and, I would also not care for Vesper to be added for any reason at all...

Trinsic is the city of Paladins....that's the absolute perfect city for a system based on the good vs. evil concept. Most people get lost within 5 seconds of going to Vesper, so it seems like that might be more frustrating than fun heh.

Honestly in my opinion it's easier to get around Vesper - but this only opinion. What isn't opinion is that Trinsic has walls and walkways surrounding the city and going through it as well. Players who can teleport have been using it for tactical advantages during fights.

The NPCs attacking reds aren't as big of a deal as the wandering NPCs around the northern mint. I'd like to see these plethora of escort NPCs dropped from Trinsic if we're going to continue fighting here or at least scatter them around the city so they aren't balled up and used for tactical advantages (stam blocking.) Groups will run to this corner of town frequently because of the hassle it causes.

Lore is important to most of the community of Ultima Online, so my argument to drop Trinsic is probably shadowed now. How about a compromise?

I'll be honest if trinsic comes up I skip it.. I chased a guy threw the walls of that town for 20 minutes one day, then I finally catch up to him and I could only cast half of my spells because it was not in the VvV area but still considered town... it's too big, too many areas to hide and avoid combat and i always lag there

For a paladin town it's not very.. paladin..ish..

    Pretty
Are we not chatting about pvp gameplay?

A choke point is also a tactical advantage, no?

Vesper would be a horrible addition, and IMO all towns were a horrible addition. They are all too big, the only fun one is moonglow because it is somewhat small...

You're just now quoting a statement that was removed over 12 hours ago? Pretty.

EDIT: Vesper would be a great addition, IMO.

I woke up and apparently forgot to hit post, but I am sorry you felt you came off rude and decided to edit your original comment.

It does, but in looking at it in map, how well would it work? There are bridges all over, making chokepoint play difficult - that's one of the reasons I hate that Fel Despise got changed so much. As far as Vesper, most of the islands have a few entrance points. How well can you defend the 2-3 entrances with a small group? The NE end (where the bridge looks like a rotated Tetris piece) looks to be the best spot to defend.

Oh I didn't feel rude at all, after realizing how much lore meant to players I decided that was a topic to tackle as well.

It would make for interesting game play. If you've played World of Warcraft, VvV in Vesper would best be related to Arathi Basin battlegrounds. I don't think Trinsic should be dropped anymore. The paladins are fine. I just think either all the escort NPCs should be removed or scattered and not grouped up in one spot.

Nope! I don't like this suggestion at all.

Beside, from what I can see there are very few players even doing the VvV thing.

I think it is more of a pain in the tuckus for those of us doing trader / fishmonger quest, BoDs for town reputation, and library / museum turn ins than the whole idea is worth.

I wish they would just call it "An idea that looked good on paper but didn't work" and drop the whole thing.

So what you're saying is, you don't participate in Vice vs. Virtue?

EDIT: Pretty much anyone who is PvPing is now in Vice vs. Virtue and you can see how active it is through the leader board. 3,393 kills in Vice vs. Virtue towns on Atlantic for just the top 25 players, seems pretty active to me. (Only kills in active VvV towns are counted.)
