I am basically the type that when I commit to something I go all out. I played for awhile when UP first came out but moved onto EQ. I want to come back but the last time I tried I was about a month into it when I found out that you needed an account to be 1 to 2 years old to be able to get a higher stat cap (like 120 int/str vice 100). Is this still in the game? I don't think I can put the time in just to be owned by someone who's intel or str just by default does more damage then me. Kinda seems as a deterrent for newbies to play if they are told...put some hard work in and in a few years you can be as good as others. I don't care if I can get the veteran house add-ons or special items..but the fundamentals of the game shouldn't be effected by how long you play. Is this rule still in effect?
