    uocodes has been this way since the new theme packs have been available. What a joke! You want us to pay for the no content booster and when we agree to that the website does not function correctly.

    These packs should be boycotted.

    Send a message that we don't want any more half-finished crap shoved on us, especially at such an absurdly high price for so little content.

    I'm thinking of buying the booster in protest of how every thread about the booster ends up with "It should be boycotted"
    It's just annoying.

    If you don't want to buy it, don't buy it. If people want to buy it, let them do it without condemnation.
    Let the general consensus speak for the players. If enough players don't buy it because they personally don't feel they get adequate return on their investment, then that will be reflected when EA run ( [Booster sales] / [active accounts] ), then they'll see that the uptake was low, and learn their lesson.
    If enough people DO buy it to come up with a nice number in the eyes of the bean counters, then c'est la vie.

    Considering how under-populated the only shard with this booster active is... I don't believe that error message at all. Maybe someone or something broke that site.

    Just about everyone hates working on the weekend... so no one around to fix it.

    If I say I'm boycotting too... mostly because I can't afford any extra 15$ to leave my already poor pockets, will you give me that extra code you buy when I say I'm boycotting? :popcorn: hehe

    www.uogamecodes.com = a very poor website that needs some serious updating!

    There are new posts weekly of people having issues buying content and updates etc...I just tried to buy a booster pack and guess what...

    We are experiencing unusually high order volume ...

    Yesterday someone stated that they spoke with someone at EA (how's that for hearsay) about this issue. (They play on Origin.) This got buried in another thread.

    Anyway. They were told that yes, indeed, the site is not working properly atm. EA was saying it would probably be 24 hours before it was fixed, although the 24 hours have passed and it's still not working properly.

    I had wanted to purchase something else as well as the booster. When I took the booster out of my cart, it worked. So basically, they don't have all the connections set up yet for us to be able to purchase the booster.

    From a personal standpoint, I have no objections to the booster, and I will purchase 1 of them. But I will only purchase one for my 4 accounts, because that is all that is needed. (I play Siege and my 'crafter account' can use this booster - the other accounts can get their topiaries or whatever from my crafter. The new house tiles are 'okay' imho, but not so fantastic that I feel I must have it on all my accounts so they can redesign their houses.)
     
  9. I'm the one who spoke to someone at EA, using their live chat system, because their phone support is of course, shut down on the weekends.

    Tech. it hasnt been 24 hours since I chatted with their online support, but I do doubt it will be fixed until sometime after the Devs come back to work.

    Usually the "unusual high order volume" means there are no codes to distribute. This is the same error folks trying to buy Legacy Tokens got about a year ago. The problem was that the site had sold all of the codes loaded into it and required new codes before it would distribute them. I suspect the issue is that whomever runs the UOGameCodes website has not loaded any codes yet to distribute to purchasers.

    The site is truthful when it says your credit card has not been charged. I tried all sorts of things to buy Legacy Tokens and checked out about 5 or 6 times. I did not get charged for any of my attempts. I eventually got the issue resolved by working direct with EA Customer Service.

    yes it seems the new content packs are causing the problem. I had the content bazaar pack and a 7th char slot in the cart and it gave the error-high traffic. I dropped the new content pack from my cart and it checked out fine.
     
  13. Ok so you can buy one pack or the other but not the combined pack.......... when is this going to be fixed????

    EA customer service cant even find the codes in their database if you call them... kinda sad............

    *Put an email into Mesanna, just in case they were unaware that the Grand Bazaar pack wasn't working on the site.... tho I somehow doubt they dont know.. maybe at least I can get an ETA.*

    Now if only I could figured out where the chest and planter come from =/

    Type your codes in for the in-game promotional option. The planter and chest should appear in your bag.

    Also... I entered my codes.. maybe its lag, but nothing.

    So far I'm waiting for my items, but I seem to recall them saying it can take up to 30 min for promotional codes to process.

    unless you are claiming on origin you may not see them till tomorrow
    I claimed my codes on ls and said waiting for confirmation i checked the tinker menu and nothing but when i log into origin I see the new items in menu

    Might try posting in origin forum and see if anyone else from there is having a issue if so it may just be we all have to wait for the items untill they release it
     
  24. I did think about that being the case. Would be sort of lame if we did have to wait, but as far as I know everyone is waiting on the upgrade. A few people were only going to upgrade for planters, but if its only one per account, then they wont.
    So they are waiting to see what I get and going from there.

    *edit* just tried to redeem the code again and got the planter................. and of course its only one............ not sure if i want to b**** about that or not yet =/
