What is the point of ingame customer service reps that...

    Can't actually fix something like salvia that is stuck in the black area where she spawns.

    Because of this she can not be hit, and can not be killed. So for all of Atlantic nobody can finish the Lady Mel quest because of it. GM says to post it to uo.com/mailbug.html.

    So now Atlantic gets to wait 2 days or for salvia to reset, wichever comes first.

    Yea.

    Same sort of thing happened in trinsic. Enough of the invasion would spawn inside the walls so we couldn't finish it.

    the GM's can, have, and will move monsters that are stuck. I've had Irk moved off the rocks for me before. try repaging, and be sure to be clear as to what the problem is.

    Page and say this

    "Salvia is stuck in an unplayable area and needs to be moved out. At present she cannot be hit by any weapons, nor Mage spells. This monster you have to kill to complete a quest and now NO one is able to until she is moved to her normal location."


    Sometimes its all about wording.

    let us know if this page produces better results from the GM's. If it doesn't, i would send in a feed back form to chrissay to let her know the GM's aren't doing their jobs.

    They have already said that a GM cannot and should not move spawn. If in doing so will tell the game that it is a valid respawn point and will spawn there again. That being said, go into the fel version and get salivia there. I know, I am not saying you HAVE to go to fel but its your option for doing so. Especially since it would have taken less time to go kill that one than it would have to wait for the GM response.
     
  8. It's in the "knowledge base" that GM's won't move monsters. I think it's stupid personally.

    I'm fine with fel, no biggie there.

    But the point is the GM's are there to make sure the game works correctly aren't they?

    There is a part of the game the is broken, and they can't fix it. The game broke itself, not a players doing.

    If this is a rule then the rule needs to be looked at. Let the GM's actually fix the game, not just be moderators between player fueds.
     
  10. Really? I've had them move cu sidhe that was stuck and could not be tamed. The purpose of not moving monsters did not consider the case of them spawning in invalid spots. Maybe I've just been lucky to get a considerate GM.
     
  11. I've had paragon golems get stuck inside the machinery in the exodus dungeon before. Paged a GM only to be directed to the infamous knowledge base. At that point I had to leave. Trying to kill a paragon with Holy Light would have taken a hour or more...

    I've paged for the IRK being stuck on the rocks before and had a GM move it so we could get the brain for entry into DH. In my page, I always say something about how its position on the rocks is inhibiting my gameplay. I've had it moved in as little as 5 minutes and as long as 20minutes, but it always seems to get moved when I page.
    I've never had Salvia spawn in a spot where I couldn't at least get an arrow to hit, so never experienced that one.
    Another one that I've paged on and had cleared up before is the Shimmering Effusion spawn. There was a group that would go in and lure all the Corporeal's & Mantra's down to one corner so they could kill ONLY the Shimmer up top. I've arrived there with 30-40 of the Corporeal's & Montra's sitting in the room (which is death waiting to happen as soon as you enter the area). I paged a GM including information that the previous group had left an excessive amount of spawn alive in the area and had the spawn cleared out leaving Shimmer and 1 or 2 of the Corporeal's and Montra's which is easily killable.

    After KR came out and someone wrecked the hedge maze buildings, I've paged a number of times about demons spawning inside on one of the middle levels of the small tower in the NW side of the center section of the maze. Have never once gotten a reply that the GMs wouldn't fix the issue and the response time has almost always been right around 20 minutes.

    Try using different wording the next time you page and see if it helps.
