What did I tell you about blanket statements? You know better, Rump.. <3

Community for me first.. ruleset is secondary.. course without the ruleset, we'd just be another production shard.. Now I see where you were going with this Kelmo! Crafty little Chicken or the Egg poll! [IMG]

I didn't see the "Wulf" option, and I'm not a community unto myself.

Pretty sloppy Kelmeister.

I was about to vote for the shadowed "Wulf" option...but obviously one must be 1337 on a whole different level to see it. I reconsidered my choice after the subject of the option publicly admitted he didn't see it himself. The universe frowns on things such as minions exceeding the 1337ness factor of their overlords.

@Kelmo: as much as I hate to agree to calling anyone "idiot" I had to go with the combo answer...I think perhaps the ruleset attracts people who want something different, which means fewer people, and those have a much greater chance of forming closer ties in game. It is a vicious cycle [IMG].

@Castor: Wisdom is supposed to come with age...you should know by now that any supposed food item containing the words "on a stick" should be treated with extreme suspicion, unless it is an ice cream-based product.

Spoken like a true fearmongerer.

Things on a stick are a great way to broaden your horizons. You can find creatures on a stick that you didn't even know existed before.

Edit: Also, wouldn't it only be a "vicious cycle" if those closer ties caused people to leave? I believe the phrase you're looking for is "vicious cause and effect". =]

23. I almost voted 2 since the people make me stay. The rulset makes me want to leave at times but the ruleset makes this Siege and all that goes with it. So, I had to go with 3.

24. Now i'm going to have to say what keeps me here on siege is the difficulty to survive and the relying on others to get what you need or want. I know some people have more than one account as do I, but how many people have enough accounts to do everything they need to do without relying on others to help out. There may be some but not many.

For me its the challange.

I agree very much with this. Being able to help each other makes for tighter groups.

Something else that makes me love Siege is the freedom.

For example; Last night I ended up in Makoto after hunting... and a young
merchant came running up to me excitedly saying "come check out my vendor!".
So, I said "ok" and followed him. When we got to the edge of town he said
"please don't kill me". And I just had to smile. Never on a production shard does
anyone need to trust anyone. The game takes the risk away on a production
shard. On Siege you see people's truer colors. You get to know how people act
in the face of temptation. And you learn self-control.

There is a lot to love about Siege.

Cheers!
