What to tailor for GM Armslore?

My tailor is having a heck of a time with Armslore gains. She is making cloth ninja hoods to gain tailoring, but these do not seem to give much gains in AL.

She is at 94.7. Any ideas on what she could make to get gains at the least time and expense? Any help is much appreciated!

Anything craftable with resists can give Arms Lore gains.

I suggest filling some small BODs for turn-in (either for larges or to turn in for other items) of things like studded leather or bone (if you got a lot of bone on hand), like one would also use for training beyond the hoods' ability, anyway.

I GM'd Arms Lore filling BODs. I can't remember the exact count but I'm pretty sure it took at least 800 to go from 0 to 100. From 95 to GM probably took half of that.

I don't recall if Weapon BODs gave me gains or not, but Basara might be right on that one. I'll have to go try that out on TC1.

Actually gming armslore making gear is a waste of resources. You can gm armslore on your newbie dagger. Just set a key to use last skill last target and keep pressing the key. Simple easy and no wasted resources.

How is it a waste of resources if you're crafting to fill BODs for turn-in? You actually get SOMETHING in return for the effort when turning in BODs, be it a usable reward (RSKs, CBD, etc.), or at least, another BOD with the potential to contribute to a good reward. Unlike tailoring gains, you don't have to craft something at the edge of skill to gain - ANY item with resists gives you the chance of a gain when crafting, be it a barbed bone tunic or a bandana. and, if you're NOT legendary yet, you can even get the gains making the things you normally do to gain tailoring skill (resulting in a waste you were ALREADY going to be doing, anyway).

By definition, your way is a 100% waste of time, because you get ZERO other than the skill gains.

BTW, I tried your method last year when I trained the skill - gains were so few and far between I went back to filling BODs for the gains, and gained 5.0 in the time I got 0.5 loring a weapon. Maybe I am bugged, if it took that long, but I doubt it.

I've been slowly gaining using a mix of methods, but mostly from filling normal/exceptional hat SBODs. Not only do they give 100 cloth, or sandals back, but also provide the option for another BOD. They're also the cheapest way if you want to fill BODs to gain arms lore, as cloth is the cheapest material - especially for a tailor.

It's also not quite as dull as sitting there and staring at a dagger/tunic etc. [IMG]

Yea well the topic question is how to gain the armslore skill. Really says nothing about filling bods or what not. So from the poster words I take it like I see it. If you just want lore gains. IT IS A WASTE OF RESOURCES. You want quick skill gain in tailoring i can tell you how to do that also without wasting resources.
