Where did the ratmen go?

    Ok... so maybe I'm out of the loop or something....


    But when they changed the spawning or whatever of the loadstone, crystaline blackrock and abyssal cloth did they take out those ratmen???

    So now the ONLY way to get the abyssal cloth is to do what????

    Where did the ratmen go???

    I'm so confused. Everytime I go down to the cavern now there is nothing there but the wolves.

    If there are no ratmen then the renowned leader is probably active and just moved away from the area (some believe it can get into a bugged state where the renowned disappears, but it's kinda hard to prove he's not off hidden in some corner after running halfway across the map in a futile effort to catch someone whose recalled away to another facet)

    The alternative way to get abysmal cloth is to get crystalline blackrock (mining in Ter Mur or an uncommon drop on elementals). Then use a tailor (110+ skill) to craft abysmal cloth from 1 crystalline blackrock and 10 bolts of regular cloth.

    The ratmen are still there, sometimes. Unfortunately if the renowned wander off the spawn will not progress until the renowned boss ratman is killed or we have to wait until server up.

    Now yesterday I did have something weird happen in the Cavern. I was fighting the archer ratman renowned and in mid-swing the frisky critter went poof, i was slightly outside the cavern area (someone left him wandering because this happened on my way in to the cavern). It just disappeared and for the rest of the day the archer/clockwork scorpion spawn was stuck at level 1.

    I've noticed that frequently when I arrive at the cavern at least one of the renowned bosses is out, probably from people farming level 2 and 3 ratmen for imbuing regs. I know these critters take like 5-10 minutes for a sampire to drop, but the renowned do have imbuing regs now.

    While I'm aware of the Renowned wandering off..... It's been WEEKS since I've found any ratmen spanwing where the wolves do on GL's... I have searched the entire map of the Abyss and NOT Found any trace of the ratman Renowned from the Wolf area...

    The one is there from the where the Clan rats spawn...... the one is there from the Tinkerers (The archer one)... but the one where the wolves spawn has been absent for nearly a month.

    I was thinking it was some sort of coincidence... but I'm sure other people want to hunt the cloth... So I think that the GL's spawn is completely broken. I don't think the renowned boss is anywhere in the abyss.

    Can I get someone to check it out? If I page a GM they tell me they "Can't replace lost or stolen items" in some BS canned comment...

    Hence my question.... ARE the rats on the side with the wolves GONE? Deleted??? Or is Great Lakes spawn totally broken? And why has no ONE else on GL's wondered where the Heck our ratmen are???

    Am I alone in my questioning....?

    The one where the wolves are? Or the ribbon clan? Or the tinkerer one?

    I have not seen the ratman one for ages.

    im on europa and got the same problem now, im looking all over for him but cant find him. I was killing the wolfs for a good 45 mins so i know its not due to respawn, some one has draged it off.

    This needs to be fixed, if we were able to drag him off and get it gaurd whacked for loot i bet it would have been fixed by now, but since its not of great consern for the Dev's it wont get fixed for years to come

    I've been down there the last 3 nights on Europa. 1st and 2nd night only the tinkers were spawning, I and another player did them 3 x, hunting the rats seperately and teaming up to take out the renowned when he arrived. Last night the tinker was absent but the henchmen and courtiers were spawning, all there teamed up to take out the renowned and then split up again when they were dead. I also have to thank the crafter who threw away a verite and valorite katana (don't remember the maker's mark) I picked them up in the cavern and turned them into 2 relic fragments :D

    There were 3 of us today trying to get all 3 spawns to restart and up untill i left all 3 were not respawning. I was there for about 50 mins + 10 mins looking for the renowned.

    This need to be fixed!

    Seeds of renewal are harder to come by than relic fragments. I have tryed to grow plants for them but out of 50 plants i only got 8 seeds and that took over 2 weeks.

    They dont allow any other type of champ to be dragged off so why these ones?

    Ps. nice one on the relic frags, great what some people bin

    yet theres always a way to fix this so that everyone is happy... Renowned pops, nothing else should respawn till its dead. Also, fix a short leash on the buggar so he cant run all over the abyss. that would solve a whole lot of problems. Also, upping the loot on them so that they are worth the kill vs the points to kill would be nice. something like a baracoon loot would be great.

    Personally, I'd like it to be possible to lure him a short way, so that you can clear out the spawn before tackling him. I'd say, not past the two bridges though.

    I agree that it's in need of a fix of some sort...

    Perhaps they can be put on a timer or something..... If it's not attacked after X time then it despawns and the area is reset?

    Or if they could be leashed somehow.... can't go beyond X,Y or it is yanked back to it's original spawn location...

    This is getting VERY annoying... I've found the renowned pixie Way on the other side of the dungeon...

    Please Dev's can we get some kind of fix?

    How am I supposed to be able to tell if the freaking thing has been lead off somewhere or if the spawn IS infact Broken?
