I play UO because I dont have the programming knowledge, time or money to make my own game, and this one allows me to do what I want, when I want.
It may not be how I'd do it, but it damn sure beats the hell out of this "Game".....

I also like the customer service(in-game and out), speedy well thought out game changes, and the anti cheat code with an "Iron Fist" is top notch.

When almost a quarter of your pollers vote 'undecided/other', it tells you you got the voting options totally wrong...

I don't know about everyone else BUT
    I'm on everyday.
I get ROT's in and play about
1 -2 hours a day after that. Don't see much of
anyone these day's . Maybe a random passing in
Luna Bank but never see a soul in field.

I started playing reluctantly when I was like...10 because my older brother said MMORPG's were all the rage. It was hard at first, the movement, the monsters, everything, but I enjoyed it on my little dial up connection. I spent my first month bunny bashing and thinking I was a BAMF because I could wear plate.

Then Alice Cooper and his evil crew came about, RG etc, gang banging everyone they saw with their archers and mages casting energy bolt. So I quickly fell in love with PvP, played with lots of great friends and guilds etc. I spent the next few years fielding, and once UOR came about got into dueling. Got taught by Chessy's best and became a damn good dueler, and fake caster with that dagger trick. Played multiple shards by this time, and scammed roughly 5m a week using multiple scams I still say I invented. PvP got boring so this is what I did, as well as "Inn Looting"(Players would drop items off to transfer between chars, GoodGuy did an episode about it after we emailed him, and showed how profitable it was)

And I went back to PvPing, had the first orny on Chessy, and the first Arcane shield, me and Kozzoloz/Lamuril would descimate CiB and BiC 3v20 in Despise for days, and Big D would come in and many times catch us on a ledge in Terra keep and drop us fast back in P16.

And it's weird after I spent about 9 years griefing players and making them hate UO, I ended up getting the most enjoyment by telling newcomers stories of the good old days and giving hand outs to newbies.

Bah! Write yer own then. This was just meant to be a bit of fluff. Light hearted humor if you will...

If/when I get more time, I will make a character simply for "questing". Kudos to Te'kan for making it look interesting.
Just ride around, looking for a fight- any fight- and seeing what happens.
The role-playing will definitely be a big part.
