The virtue Honor of my Bard stuck at the 2nd level. It doesn't increase even when I killed balrons. How come it is so, any idea?

Honor has two components that factor into gains... The fame of the monster and the method of attack.

I don't know the specific calculations, but I'm guessing provocation may discount your honor gains like taming does. Do you still get the message about gaining honor?

No, I no longer see the message of gaining honor.

Most bards run magery or mysticism, what is your template. If you are ranged or a caster, make sure that you stay in the same spot that you honor them which can be tough.
