With Easter event in mind, a question about new content in UO

So, the Easter events give you clues, and take you from place to place until you solve the quest.

    So here's a few questions.

    1) Would you like UO to have more of this, on an ongoing everyday basis?

    2) Would you like this sort of thing sometimes made much more elaborate, with riddles that are broken up and hidden in the world, in books and stories, on collectible items, on maps and scrolls, spoken from crystal balls, written in blood on walls, etc.? A wide variety of difficulties?

    3) Would you like these riddles to not be point to point, i.e. just in the world and not connected like dots, so that you have to realize what quest they go with? Or even that they are a riddle at all?

    4) Would you like some rewards to be knowledge of the lore and world, while others are a variety of rewards like collectibles (like the Easter eggs), special treasure maps, etc.?

    5) Would you like some quests to be "one off", for a truly rare reward?

Would like better knowledge provided in the beginning, on Baja some of us had read the latest patch so we knew something was supposed to happen but not what or when. Thru general chat someone mentioned an npc giving out info but it wasnt the town criers or sherry the mouse giving info so no idea who was or wasnt giving info. In general chat somone posted event at 3 but no one had any idea if it was Eastern,Mtn,Pac etc, finally gave up and went off to do other better things since patch notes said event would be on for 2 weeks figured i would try forums today to see if i can get any news on what event is or where it is.

The rest of your questions dont matter if we cant find out anything about events to begin with

This applies to EM events in general, but I would like more of the rewards to be account-bound.

Right now there is probably some scripter or RMTer figuring out how to get dozens and maybe even hundreds of the dragon easter eggs and the bonsai trees so that they can turn around and sell them in Luna.

These EM events make it very easy for scripters/RMTers to build up inventories of gold across all of the shards without doing much work.

The general purpose here is to add some intrigue, surprise, and discovery to the game, mixed in with standard fare. In a fashion that feels like it's part of the world of Sosaria.

5 "one off" meaning [email protected]? Yes

I'm sick of Easter now - The one, and Only thing I got, was remembrance of how bad I hate EM events. Dev Driven all the way for me please, or Nothing - Had that little fact of been listed in the Official release(Client Patch - 04/20 | Mythic Entertainment | Ultima Online), I'd of never even bothered, joining others sitting on the bench doing something else.

Whatever. I won't be buying any egg (or whatever) either, I'd rather throw my gold in the trash.
As far as I'm concerned, it was just another Fail, unless they just Wanted to Pi** people off.
Think I'll go watch the weather radar loop, bye

Wow. I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you players have been indoctrinated by MMOs of today to think in one way, their way, and nothing else seems to sink in. It's like you can't grasp anything else.

Account bound items? One per character? Walk through content?
All seems lost to me now. This is quite frustrating.
