With recent changes, lets turn on Tokumo arties permently

Lets face it, with recent changes "item based" stuff has taken a 2nd huge leap from being first introduced. New runic changes will introduce more and powerful runic items into the game. New items dropping in legacy dungeons. Doom arties dropping like flies now, soon to be very common items.

There is only 1 thing left. Lets turn the Tokumo landmass arti spawn back on and leave it on. There isn't any reason anymore to keep it off, and many people like hunting in those spots, yet really gain no benefit compared to other things except the normal loot. When i go hunting now, i usually decide.. can i get the same amount of gold somewhere else, and do i have a chance for a minor/arti/item etc.

With all the item influx, its time to turn Tokumo back on and leave it on, to go along with the rest of the game. We don't have the most popular arti turnin anymore, the good tokumo dyes, so let the people get their fill of what ever else. It was a great turn in system which really needs to fill over to the paragon arti and other systems. Its time for Tokumo to stop being left in the dark. Let it join the rest of the game. I have my new runics, my new doom, lets have my new Tokumo.

sounds good to me, anything to give players more options for different hunts.

but turn down the drop rate, to somewhere about the same rate as the current anti-virtue dungeon legacy drops, as least to me that would seem about right.

Not too fast, but you know you can get one with some work. Turn on both ToT 1 & 2 events so that a drop can be achieved overland or in dungeon.

  3. i think it is a bad idea.
there is enough items in game already for one. learn to walk around and shop for what you want , it's out there.

secondly, treasures of tokuno should be a 'special' event that happens for a short time only each year. ( the story replays it'self type thing ) ( this is good for the new players also).

gimmie gimmie gimmie [IMG] how sad

I wouldn't be against another round at this time, but again only for a month or two, then turn off again for a year or so.

Periodic rotating events for the win!

nuh!uhhhhh! [IMG] re-institute some form of item decay ... like in the old days ...
(one that deals with the seemingly eternal presence OF the "items" ... limit repairs/PoF)

"Cap" the failsafe method of retaining the items seemingly forever (ie. limit the TIMES an item can be relaimed)
Particularly with the "insurance bug" possibly being addressed ...

[IMG] MORE items ... even at 100-1 rates .... doesn't really address which items will be kept AS lockdowns
[IMG] would make for some item churn for awhile ... but ... in the end ... STILL gonna be wanting more lockdowns/storage ...
    to either get'em or keep'em ...

unless of course ... your after "just" more of one specific type of item ... for yourself ...

    Still ...

Right now, I still believe the best way to create a reasonably fair method of item decay/loss is to do the following two things:

    1. Limit the number of times an item can be Powdered. Make them become oversaturated and no longer powderable after a number of applications.

    2. Make it so that any item that is insured doubles its current durability and becomes unpowderable and unrepairable. Removing of insurance should NOT remove this condition either to prevent exploiting the system.

With Doom Artifacts working under a better system of distribution and Runic tools getting a HUGE upgrade in quality, replacing lost items may be work, but they are NOT impossible unless they were gained differently (like Coal armor or special event items), but that merely applies to a small minority of used items anyway as Coal Armor isn't exactly usable for more than decoration and event items seem to be little more than dupe-and-auction targets.

Once year would be great. I don't know about permanently though even at a slow rate.

I would love to see one minor treasure handed out per champ spawn there though. This would mean that guilds could do the spawn to collect minors and eventually majors for their players. It has always bothered me that ilsh and tokuno champs are so useless. Who the hell wants to do all that work for a paltry amount of gold? Not me.

I do think that the items handed out in ToT both 1 and 2 meaning all of the existing pigment colors should be a permanent obtainable thing just not constant either 10 champs to get a single major or once a year.

This some sort of argument or excuse for making everything common? Ever notice how people treat and complain about the minor artifacts now?

"New runic changes will introduce more and powerful runic items into the game. New items dropping in legacy dungeons. Doom arties dropping like flies now, soon to be very common items."

If that is the case, why turn treasures of tokuno back on. According to you, the overpowered artifacts are dropping like flies and there are tons of affordable artifacts and armor around. Therefore let treasures system stay dormant until they come up with a new storyline and new arties for it.

I hate the rehash of the same crap over and over again. Let us have events that actually matter and with a worthy storyline. New artifacts, new event, stop going back to the the well until it is dry, dig a new one.

Thats one of the reasons I say turn it on. With the huge influx of doom arties, plus runics and stronger stuff appearing, i dont see the reason to NOT turn it on. Its not like many of the tokumo arties are used anyway, only a select few are worthwhile, so why have orni's, jackals, totems, etc dropping easy and not have runebeetle carapaces, kasa's, etc dropping.

Its silly to have one or 2 sections of the game spewing out items an not have the tokumo arties on. You want to keep them rare? Who cares. Once you get one you don't lose it so its not like they are rare. The best item is gone from the rewards, so really lets get it going so you can have your kasa or carapace just like you can have your jackals collar or orni of magician. If your going to influx items, might as well have the complete set instead of MOST of the things. And I like actually hunting in Tokumo, would be nice for the minor drops instead of camping the gauntlet every evening.

Have Alacrity Scrolls drop from Ilsh Champs, and Tokuno Minor Artifacts drop from 3rd+ Tier spawn of Tokuno Champ, with Tokuno Major Artifacts dropping from Serado the Awakened.

It wouldn't matter if they were turned on or not.

I've always thought the Tokuno champ spawns should give these...

I see absolutely NO reason why this (or something like it) shouldnt be implemented into the game for the champs that arent in Fel. Leave PS in fel ya, give us a reason to do the other champs! I think this is perfect myself...

  17. I'm ok with tok arties turned on permanently, but I think the drop rate should be the same as the arties that drop in virute dungeons. If they drop uncommonly enough, they become an incentive without flooding the game with them. Also, I think there should be a way to cash in the virtue arties for enhancements for virute arties. Maybe 10 virtue items would equate to an upgrade to a virtue item or something. Upgrades could be used on the virtue suit to give it mods that only work if you have the virtue for that suit piece. Or maybe that's too complicated... I'm all for trade-in programs that consume masses of lesser arties to get or build new greater arties, though.

Depends on which facet drop rate you use... if it's Trammel's drop rate you might as well not even put them back in.

Both are useless until such a time as crafting is made to accomodate decay. Until craftin is changed so that we can create the suits we need to pvp/pvm then decay is a worthless concept that has no place in the game. We simply cannot go into a decay system without crafting support. The random item replacment system is not good enough. Doom isn't enough to support decay.

  20. I'm in favor of this, if only to get people back onto the Tokuno Islands!

Before quiting, last year, I spent a week killing some hyrius. I had my tamer on a second account ready to tame if I happened to find a rare colored one. I actually got 2 neon green and a purple one. I sold one neon green for 5 mil, kept the two others. I also gathered 120k of hides, close to 3.8 mil in gold and a few decent armor peices and weapons.

Approximatly 15 mil for a week of game play, not to mention thoses two awsome pets in my stable, I would not say that there is no point to hunt in Tokuno without the minor arti event...

    Just my two cents...

    Yes.

With a low drop rate, like the current old-dungeon virtue marties.

Anti-Virtue Dungeon Arties aren't hard to get at all...if you do the first few levels of a Champ in Fel. Best way to get them, just gotta book when it hits 3rd+ Tier, and not only because that's when Caster's usually pop up in mass, but that's also usually when Spy/Ghost Cam guilds raid.

Adding ToT to the Tokuno Champ spawn would add incentive to do it. I proposed they drop from only 3rd+ Tier because the first 2 Tiers are too easy, you'd have Necro's Solo Farming the first 2 spawns with Wither for the arties, then leaving as soon as it start's to get hard at 3rd+ Tier. If only 3rd+ Tier gave them, it would make people band together to complete the Champ.

Pffft...people would do it if only 6 dropped from the champ like powerscrolls. Unfortunately there is something that prevents the devs from adding rewards to non fel champ spawns.
