Wouldn't it be time that the work around to put on a luck suit just before the killing shot was ended ?

Sure, luck is broken anyways but whenever the developers will decide to fix luck I think they will also need to make it so that to work, one would have to KEEP the luck suit on for the entire duration of the fight and not just swap suits for that one killing blow.

That's the way I see it.

Meh, who cares? Is this even an issue at all? What possible difference could it make, especially now with imbuing.

Do enough people actually do this to make it a big deal? No.

Is it a big deal? No.

    Game breaking? No.

I know of no one who goes to these lengths. Changing suits in the middle of a fight? What kind of fight allows you to do that?

We have always used that with peerless, champs etc.
  7. And why exactly is this a game breaking issue, and who does it affect other than your own delicate sensibilities?

Do you just sit around all day long and think about new and unusual things to complain about in the world of UO?

You need a new hobby. Try stamp collecting. That seems to be on your level.

Your intense hatred of the OP makes you seem a bit...small.

    Just sayin'

I think if you're carrying two suits around, you're paying double insurance anyway .. or on Siege you're risking the loss of two suits.

To me it doesn't seem to be a huge deal. Supposedly Luck is broken anyway so it seems a waste of time coding a needlessly complex tracking algorithm to support a system that doesn't look like getting fixed anytime soon.

I hope these sorts of marginal issues don't keep you up all night.. :eyes:
  10. Nah, not hatred. Extreme annoyance maybe, but not hatred. :fight:

I do it all the time in Doom and never thought twice about it. It's just like swapping an undead slayer for a demon. With the EC it is an instant suit-swap when I hit the macro key and in Doom, you have plenty of time to do mass-damage, then swap suits for the killing blow.

That said - even though the suit has over 1900 Luck without the statue - I still really can't say I see any difference in drops - but I keep hoping!
  12. That's what I do to using EC, equip luck stuff tied to my all kill macro, and disco +30 jewels t omy disco button, same with provo and some high level magery spells more magery + jewels to macros. Same with music slayers equip the right slayer instrument and book same time, couldn't live without it!

I would guess that most players don't even bother doing something like this. Those that do probably only do it during boss fights. And if they go through all the effort and work to actually kill the boss, what's so terrible about swapping suits out to get a shot at better rewards? I don't see any issue at all with this.
