Would UO be better off if it looked like this?

Ugly, sadly we did get this ugly mobs in UO.
I don't know if UO would had survived better as 3D but I like UO to look beautiful, not ugly. Our good old monsters and some of the new one are great but the ones in this vidio should never had been added.

actually UO2 wouldn't have been so bad but the futuristic feel turned off most of the beta testers so much so that EA incorporated some of the aspects into uo and let uo2 fade away... what would be nice is if say Magencia were rebuilt in the flavor of UO2 rather then left a ruin....

I am also turned off by the technological/futuristic aspect of it. I would like to see them revive the project, or something similar, but without all of the Todd McFarlane crap. Don't get me wrong, I really like Todd's other creations, I just feel they should have never been brought into UO, like every other expansion since then.
  6. I want klingons!!!
  7. I like a little mix of ugly and beautiful... good and bad... smart and stupid hahaha.... I think it might have lent uo a better chance of developing technology to keep it marketable for more players..
